I had the Chicken sandwich, a cold brew and a couple of donuts. The sandwich and coffee were excellent... but the Old fashioned donut was the true star of this show. The top had a high surface area/crunch on top of an excellent crumb and a perfect level of sweetness. I will be bringing my family here when theyre in town.

Great little shop, making made to order sandwiches and fresh donuts all day. We showed up about an hour before close and they were still having fresh donuts come out to the front. There was a little bit of seating inside, but a good covered outdoor patio with plenty of tables. The guy at the counter was super friendly and made lots of great recommendations. Generally I'm more of a very light Krispy Kreme donut type. The vanilla bean glazed and chocolate glasses are outstanding high level example of this. I don't generally go for cake donuts however these are really good. Any of the old fashioned are cakey, but crispy with a soft, fluffy interior. These are amazing! Of special note, the Meyer lemon and pistachio donut is amazing! Sweet, tangy, savory, nutty, a little bit of salt. This flavor combination is just perfect. If you're a fan of Boston Cream donuts, these have to be one of the best I've ever tasted. The chicken was great as well, hot, fresh, juicy. My daughter had the tenders, my wife had a breakfast sandwich, and I had a chicken sandwich. Her's was on the brioche, I had mine on a donut. All of us were very happy! Donut sandwich is kinda messy... But totally worth it. I can see why the locals spoke so highly of it. The valet at my hotel didn't even hesitate when I asked him somewhere I should try, he said one block up and 4 over, I go here all the time.

we walked over from our hotel bc we'd heard such good things abt do-rite, and we were certainly beyond pleased!! to start, the place is kinda small so be prepared to sit outside if you're not into bar seats! not a problem for us, we didn't mind sitting outside on the covered patio, but just be aware! also the staff was super super nice :) from the cashier to the cooks, everyone was so friendly! the chicken on the sandwiches was crispy, tender, juicy, and flavourful, and they loaded up on bacon on my cheddar bacon ranch!!! most restaurants absolutely leave sandwiches lacking on bacon, so i was pleasantly surprised!!!! the hot n spicy chicken sandwich had a nice little kick without being too spicy, and the flavor was great. the fries were very tasty, and the donuts were sooo good. we especially loved the old fashioned ones!! great texture!! not too bready, not dry, and great flavour!! everything was so filling, we could hardly finish our meals! 100% recommend !!

Came down to Chicago for C2E2, was walking distance from our hotel. Very much recommend this place! Oatmilk Latte very yummy. Carrot cake latte was cozy delicious! Donuts we tried Raspberry filled (such delicious jam), old fashioned (if grandma made it), maple bacon (great combo not too sweet like most), apple fritter (apple bits really popped), carrot cake (light fluffy not too sweet just perfect), cinnamon crumble ( like an old fashioned but with cinnamon very good). Bacon, egg, cheese breakfast sandwich (eggs sssooo fluffy thick, bacon that amazing soft crunchy, cheese melted perfectly). Hot & Spicy chicken sandwich ( chicken perfectly cook not dry, every bite was more addictive). We actually came back the next morning got same sandwiches again and donuts cheese Danish (think best donut you have ever had topped with Danish cream cheese), and Chai donut (think everything cozy and comforting made into a donut).

Currently on holiday from the UK and decided to visit Do-Rite Donuts after reading all the rave reviews on Google and Reddit. Since arriving, I’ve tried a variety of their donuts - including the buttermilk old fashioned, blueberry, chocolate old fashioned and cinnamon old fashioned and every single one has been a hit. Easily a 10/10. The buttermilk old fashioned is a standout - the flavor is incredible. I also had the sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast brioche, which was equally amazing! I’d highly recommend stopping by, and I’d return in a heartbeat!

Yummy glazed donut and spicy chicken sandwich! We were in the area and walked in for a quick donut and sandwich. Fast service and kind staff. Would definitely recommend going back! There was a restroom and water available too. Indoor and outdoor seating options.

“SUCH good donuts!”

SUCH good donuts!! The pumpkin old fashioned was both our favorites, and the chicken sandwich was a top item my sister and I had while visiting Chicago. The inside can get tight, they have some seats outside and a couple of bar seats inside. Make sure to sign up for texts to get a free donut!

“Husband and I loved this place.”

Husband and I loved this place! Decided to try the chicken sandwich with the donuts as buns. Was surprisingly delicious! Donuts were nice and soft and the actual chicken was thick and juicy! Highly recommend trying it. The avocado, egg, and cheese sandwich with the brioche bun was also delicious and finished it off with the chocolate old fashioned donut. So good! The woman assisting us inside was so friendly and helpful. Overall, we loved our first experience at Do-Rite Donuts and can't wait until we are back in Chicago to have it again.
