The Sweet Moon is one of my favorite places in Chicago. The service is always friendly, delicious food and cozy atmosphere🙌🏻 Great selection of Central Asian and European menu, including tea and house-made pastries. The pistachio syrnyky and solyanka soup are the best!

I visit bakeries and pastry shops everywhere I travel. I loved this cafe! Their Merengue was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had anywhere. Light, fluffy, tasty and melt in your mouth delicious. My husband, son and myself ordered a variety of pastries and drinks and everything we had was delicious.

“Absolutely adore this place.”

Absolutely adore this place. The decor is clean and minimalist. There is a good amount of space to move and is wheelchair accessible at the entrance. I'm not sure about the bathrooms. I went on a Saturday at 11am. It wasnt packed but around 12, it started to pick up. I ordered the salmon plate. It was delicious and the perfect portion. The presentation was very beautiful. I also ordered an iced cinnamon strawberry matcha. It was also very good and not overly sweet. I appreciate a drink that focuses on flavor instead of just dumping a bunch of sugar in it.To go, I got a triple nut croissant to have with my coffee the next day but devoured it as soon as I got home. The baristas were polite and friendly. I would 100% return to try more of their menu.

This was my first visit to Sweet Moon. My friend and I were looking for cheesecake and happened to discover this place by chance. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the young lady at the front. She was exceptionally welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable. She provided honest and thoughtful recommendations, and since it was our first time, she guided us through the menu and helped us make the perfect choice. Her outstanding service truly elevated our experience.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Still making my way through the menu, but everything I’ve had has so much flavor in it, and it’s all so beautiful to look at. The meringue has me spell-bound. Highly recommend. Give the wonderful front of house staff your cash and beg them to pick out some treats for you. You will be thrilled. Telling everyone I know about this magical place. Thank you, sweet moon!

“I’ve had this spot on my bucket list and was absolutely not disappointed.”

I’ve had this spot on my bucket list and was absolutely not disappointed! The space was so clean, the staff were so friendly, the other patrons were so happy- it practically looked like a commercial. We ordered the avocado & egg sandwich and the breakfast plate. We also ordered potato pirozkhis and everything was absolutely delicious. The bread on the sandwich was perfectly toasty and crunchy on the outside while fluffy on the inside. The fried cheese and spinach rolls were our favorite bite. We ordered a few desserts to go as well and everyone loved them- particularly the honey cake. I especially appreciated that the meats were halal! I absolutely recommend and hope to return soon!

Sweet Moon is an absolute gem for breakfast and brunch lovers! The crepes here are out of this world—seriously, so good. The savory meat crepes were hands down our favorite—perfectly seasoned, super satisfying, and packed with flavor. The mushroom crepes were also incredibly tasty and comforting. We were so hungry that we didn’t even get a chance to take photos before devouring everything… they disappeared fast! 😅 We also tried the Raf and the Bumble drinks, and both were delicious—smooth, flavorful, and a perfect match to the food. Everything about this place just hits right. We loved the experience and will definitely be coming back again and again. Sweet Moon just earned a permanent spot on our favorite breakfast spots list!
