“Used their delicious milk bread for pizza “bagels” and it was perfect! Delicious fresh and spongy bread!”

“Ordered strawberry with chocolate cake. (Figurines bought separately on amazon) $38 and fed five people. Taste was light, fresh and flavorful. 😸💗”

“found my new favorite korean bakery in my neighborhood! love to support small businesses and if it’s bread- im in! definitely check it out and anything you get tastes amazing! koreans do do it best”

“Lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff and the pastries are very delicious but also cheap. My only wish is for them to open extend the time a bit so I can visit them on the week day. But I guess I don’t mind visiting them on the weekends either.”

“I was walking around the neighborhood and noticed the sign for New Dokil Bakery. Dokil 독일 means German/Germany in Korean, and the sign reminded me of one of my favorite Kdramas Reply 1988. This store is a cute neighborhood bakery that sells delicious Korean breads, some with cream fillings. The bread tastes fresh and homemade, and it's priced reasonably. The owner is also very friendly and welcoming. They make cakes to order as well, so next time I have a special occasion I'll try ordering from New Dokil Bakery. I like to support local businesses over international franchises, and I'm impressed that they have been in operation for over forty years!”

“Ordered the Strawberry Yogurt Cake and it was very good! It’s the perfect not too sweet cake. Everyone loved it and was asking where I got it from. Very easy to order too! I also really appreciated the inclusion of candles and a cake topper, the box is also super cute!”

“I’d highly recommend this bakery for anyone. The authentic korean bread is really great. Definitely worth the visit.”

“Grace made a beautiful custom cake for my sister’s 30th birthday party! She made it very easy to place a custom order and was so helpful with loading it into my car to ensure that it didn’t move around while transporting to the venue. The cake was a hit, it was on theme and absolutely delicious. Thanks for helping to make the day special!! Would highly recommend working with New Dokil for any occasion, small or large!”

“Stumbled upon an Authentic Korean Bakery along Lawrence Ave and it did not disappoint. I love both pastries I bought from the store. The owner (Grace) is so kind and friendly. Will be going back to try other pastries.”

“I came into the bakery during my lunch break and was greeted by the owner and her friend. They were both incredibly kind and helpful, and the soboro ppang was fresh and delightful! I'll definitely be returning for more!”
“I love coming here for my breakfast. The ladies that work here are very nice to me every single time I come in. I love it here!”
