Took a stroll down Halstead in Chicago and found Jennivee's Bakery & Cafe. Ordered just a simple Cappuccino and Almond Croissant. I’ve found that there are cafes who know how to make a cappuccino and those that do not: Jennivee's knows how to make them. But that wasn’t the best part - this Almond Croissant is one of the best I’ve ever had. Flaky, flavorful and baked to perfection. What a nice late morning find! I took a couple of bites before I realized I hadn’t taken a picture yet!

I got to return to a very unique and aesthetically pleasing bakery in Lakeview. I had the Ube latte paired with an Ube cupcake, and it was the perfect sweet treat to satisfy my cravings, I Highly recommend checking out such a delicious and unique café and bakery. They also have gelato!

This quickly became our go to spot for "special occasion" dessert. Always a great variety of slices available and each flavor we've tried has been excellent. Service is always friendly too. Once, my wife and I wanted a simple gender reveal just for ourselves. I picked two different, possible flavors, gave the worker the slip of paper, and he quickly selected the right slice, and boxed and bagged.

“Left me speechless ; and full.”
Left me speechless ; and full. I ordered from this place on Uber Eats, and nothing could have prepared me for the absolute unit of a cake slice that showed up. Massive is an understatement. The Oreo cake? So freaking delicious I had to pause mid-bite and reassess my dessert priorities. It’s rich, but not too sweet, it’s the perfect balance. I’m an avid Crumbl Cookie girlie, but let me be clear: they will never see me again. 😂 Soft. Moist. Balanced. Iconic. 10/10 would recommend.

Everything was 10/10! We got the pistachio raspberry cupcake and we were so pleased! The iced Americano was not as strong we would have preferred but good coffee flavor. Adorable bakery decor. Girly and cute. I would highly recommend!
