“The Original Pancake House is a Chicago breakfast classic for a reason! We ordered the Dutch Baby and the Apple Pancake, and both were outstanding. The Dutch Baby came out hot, light, and perfectly puffed, while the Apple Pancake was loaded with tender cinnamon apples and had an amazing caramelized flavor. They were both well worth the wait. The service was friendly, attentive, and kept everything running smoothly, even during a busy breakfast rush. If you’re in Chicago and looking for a memorable breakfast, The Original Pancake House is definitely worth a visit. We’ll be back the next time we’re in town!”
“Looking for a good breakfast and stumbled upon this place. They do basic breakfast really well. I got a waffle with candied pecans and the waffle was crispy and tasty. Great portion sizes for the price.”

“If you'd gone earlier, you wouldn't have had to wait in line at all. But .. After 9, there's almost always a line and you're looking at a wait of at least half an hour. I love an omelette loaded with cheese—when the chef wraps it up real cheesy and fries it 'til it's golden and crisp! Yum!! The staff there are super friendly and really take good care of you. We definite be back!!”
