A great bar! Delicious hamburger! Incredible fries!! Service was amazing! Attention to detail was stunning! I made a reservation, saying we were celebrating our son's engagement. They had a handmade card made up congratulating us! And some bubbly! It was a dark and icy night, but it was well worth the trip. Hubby loved the hamburger, it was his first time here. We will be going back for more! I know the mussels here are incredible so next time, that's mine!

Came into The Loyalist on a busy Saturday night hoping to snag two bar seats with no reservation and were pleasantly surprised. The bar was full when we arrived, but the hostess was incredibly kind and helpful, letting us know a couple of seats should open up soon and handing us menus while we waited. Not even five minutes later, she guided us right to our bar seats. We glanced at the menu, but we already knew what we were there for, the burgers. We started with two Old Fashioned, which were excellent, and an order of oysters. The oysters were fine fresh and simple though I personally prefer adding my own garnishes. Now for the stars of the show the OG Burger and the French Smash. Both absolutely lived up to the hype and were incredibly delicious, but if I had to choose, the OG Burger was the clear winner. We ended up having a couple more Old Fashioneds “for dessert” and enjoyed great conversation with the two bartenders, which really rounded out the experience. Between the welcoming service, great drinks, and unforgettable burgers, it was an all around fantastic night. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back.

Atmosphere is very nice, intimate and small but still spacious. Food is amazing. We ordered french onion soup, salad, and OG cheeseburger. Excellent. Server was very attentive and friendly.

Attended a private event. The food, atmosphere and quaint setting was phenomenal. The drinks were chef's kiss. The only downside, it took forever on drink orders so you'll need to order 3 at a time. Example: water, Pepsi and an LP. Definitely order a Martini Expresso.

The Loyalist is a restaurant/Bar in the basement of a building in the west loop (easy to miss) Overall our food was of high quality and well prepared. I ordered the loyalist burger medium rawer juicy cooked perfectly. Bun was super soft. Love their burger sauce This was a phenomenal burger, but I cannot say it's the best in Chicago! Definitely worth checking out at lest once 100% recommend!

I know their sister restaurant has the Michelin, but seriously, this place is just amazing and deserves a nod. Maybe some of the best burgers around (yes, plural, because all their burgers are awesome). Any egg dish they have with caviar is incredible. Drinks are unique and generous. Service is top top top notch. Comfortable and cozy. Price will get ya but it is absolutely worth it.

The cocktails are well crafted, boozy, memorable. The Toxic Avenger was my personal favorite on this visit, but after trying a lot of their house cocktails, they don't miss. The food is phenomenal too. Really loved the simple salad and the trout dishes. The burger is the popular item here and it doesn't disappoint. The onion and pickle are core for any burger and the pickle crunch is so satisfying. The fries were crisp and delicious. It's a great burger, but don't sleep on the other items on the menu. You might walk away enjoying those more than the OG.

This joint will turn your table into a bunch of moaning food zombies. The OG Burger is a standout that most know about, but don't shy from the entire menu. The 3 Michelin Star experience above is incredible, but pound for pound the Loyalist captures my mouth.

Pretty good burger and beer/shot deal for $28. Burger is pretty pickle forward which I absolutely love - the pickles are tart, sweet and crunchy/fresh. Just gives the burger a breath of fresh air. Onion aioli that comes with the plate is also incredible with the fries

My favorite burger in Chicago and today we had a wonderful service experience with David, one of the supervisors who provided best in class service and positive energy throughout our dinner . He even talked in Spanish to us, since our first language is not English. Final touch, we got a surprise chocolate cookie which was amazing. We'll be coming back for sure and hope to see David again!
