“We ate at Coquette in February for their Restaurant Week menu and had an incredible experience. The service was honestly some of the best we’ve ever had: warm, attentive, and genuinely memorable. (Music was too loud though and more suitable for a night club and not fitting for fine dining. Decor also felt more like a nightclub.) We tried a variety of dishes, including foie gras, croquettes, mushroom soup, seafood, beef, and the pommes purée. The standout was absolutely the pommes purée. It wasn’t just mashed potatoes, it was an ultra-silky, butter-forward French-style purée, clearly inspired by Joël Robuchon. Perfectly smooth, intensely rich, and a great example of how technique can elevate something simple. A few food nitpicks: the foie gras was a little underwhelming and didn’t have the wow factor foie gras usually has. The truffle croquettes, on the other hand, surprisingly exceeded expectations. The mushroom soup was listed as a velouté, but technically felt more like a mushroom cream soup, but still very good, though. After dinner, we were invited behind the bar for drinks and digestifs, which made the experience feel incredibly personal and special. It turned a great meal into a truly memorable night. Wish we could remember the young server’s name, as he turned a 3-4 star experience into a 5+ star. Highly recommend.”

“We really enjoyed our dinner! The restaurant was very quiet since it was early on a Tuesday. Our waiter was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. The star of the meal was by far the French escargot ravioli. Delicious and plenty to share. The chicken Wellington came as 4 large slices and was also very shareable as well as tasty. If I have one critique it was that both the Wellington and the burger could have been a little warmer. Some time passed between presentation of the uncut Wellington and then the actual service. I think it got a little too cool. That being said we enjoyed both entrees immensely. Delicious!! The complimentary cocktail served behind the bar to close out the meal was a nice touch and much appreciated. We loved our dinner and will for sure be back. (The rav is calling our name).”
