Lillie's Q
Lillie's Q — an american spot in West Town. Order the Barbecue. The kind of place your parents probably knew about too. "Best sauce would be the smoky and hot smoky if you want a kick of spiciness on your bbq" — Eleanor Zhou [$$, patio]

“Absolutely phenomenal brisket fries. Demolished. Will absolutely be back.”

“Came in almost before closing time! The location was easily findable and had a very nice atmosphere! Super good vibe and feel! Once we got to the counter a nice gentleman named Jose was the one that helped us! That guy is the MVP! You can tell he enjoys his job and does it pretty well! He recommended us some good sauces and the salsa macha! Definitely will come back just because of the good service we had! The food was insanely good! Brisket was beyond fire! The tacos were the best in my opinion! Totally unexpected it! 100/10”

“The brisket fries are incredible, a unique combination that’s packed with flavor. I’ll definitely be going back just for those!”

“One of my top 5 Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwiches. Out of close to 30 by now. Enough heat to make me sweat with flavor that kept me eating!”

“It's been a long while since I've been at this District Brew Yards location and I don't remember Lillie's Q. Pictured here is a Pimento Cheese Sausage Link ($8 and a style I've never tasted before 5/5), half a pound of Brisket ($17, probably one of the best I've had 5/5), both come with a side of onions and pickles, and ordered sides of Coleslaw ($4, dry, not creamy 3/5) and Mac & Cheese ($6, which was average 2.5/5). Not a huge fan of how the BBQ sauce packets came, pictured here - opted for Hot Smoky and Smoky Barbecue Sauce. A bit pricey but was filling. Would like to try the Tri-Tip, Hot Link, and Chicken Wings next visit.”

“The smoked chicken wings are worth traveling for. Always delicious.”

“What a weird weird place, they took pour your own beer and counter order bbq and put them together. The sauce is all pre packaged. Why. It was delicious though. Five stars. Great back patio/parking lot.”

“The kitchen of District Brewyard known chiefly for their chicken. It was a mixed experience for us. While the Fried chicken sandwich (Nashville Hot) was pretty good with a crunchy patty complemented by some savory slaw, the smoky wings (buffalo sauced) were way too salty. Place has a good vibe. Would probably have given another star if this was review for the brewery.”

“I would NOT recommend. This is NOT authentic BBQ. I ordered the brisket and the pulled pork. While the quality of meat is good, the meat is NOT smoked. I did not taste ANY smoke flavor either liquid or authentic. The meat did not have a ring. I enjoy the roasted meat, but this is NOT BBQ by my southern standards. I have 2/5 stars because the western NC sauce and pickles were good.”
“It's been 4 years since I last had some LQ. The Nashville Hot chicken is still, hands down, the best chicken I've ever had.”
