Kanela Breakfast Place is in a prime location in Chicago, and I must say it is one of the best breakfast spots I have tried in the city. The food was fresh, tasty, and well presented. The service was amazing very friendly and fast. For the quality of food and service, the price was very reasonable. I would give it a solid 10/10. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great breakfast in Chicago.

Will G. was great! Friendly, welcoming, and informative. We ordered the California Benedict and 3 egg dish for our table. Spicy and delicious. I recommend the California Benedict with bacon, although the original option is equally delicious. My wife loved her plate with eggs Sunny side up. Coffee and cappuccino is tasty. Our friend wanted something sweet so we ordered the Kanela Roll. Sooooo delicious with its cream cheese frosting, cinnamon flavor. If you’re in the downtown Chicago area, make the stop for breakfast here. Your tastebuds will thank you.

Kanela Breakfast Club in Chicago was such a delightful spot! The location was beautiful, with windows everywhere that allowed you to take in the city while enjoying a cozy atmosphere. One thing that stood out to me about Chicago is how often Pepsi products are available compared to Coke, and Kanela had them—which made me so happy. Now, onto the food! I ordered their banana nut pancakes with Nutella and their fried chicken and waffles. The pancakes were incredible—soft, fluffy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The Nutella was the perfect touch, so I decided to skip the syrup since I felt it would have made them too sweet. Honestly, they didn’t need anything extra! As for the fried chicken and waffles, the chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The waffles were light and fluffy, and the honey sriracha sauce added just the right kick to tie everything together. I loved it! The service was just as impressive as the food. Our server was fantastic, and the whole experience left me eager to come back and explore more of their menu. Kanela Breakfast Club is definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone visiting Chicago!

I'm not sure why this place has 4.1 on here, it's a solid 5. Had the best breakfast I've ever eaten here. Service was great and my bloody was good, husband loved his Greek frappe. I wish we had a Kanela in Upstate NY. I had the Red Velvet French Toast, husband got the Crabcake Benedict, and we had a side of black pepper bacon. This is a must try place.

This place is clean and organized well. Our server was very nice and welcoming. We ordered a burrito and a skillet. I ordered a latte with oak milk but it was very bland, I didn’t like it. The cappuccino was regular milk tastes very good though. The burrito was packed with eggs. Very flavorful.

“The breakfast here is amazing.”

The breakfast here is amazing! They have a ton of options. Their avocado toast is really tasty too. The food didn't take long to be taken to our table, although I wish that our server hadn't been in such a rush since it kinda felt like we had to leave quickly after finishing our food instead of taking some time ro finish our coffee.

I've always wanted to go check their menu and I'm glad that i finally did it. The space itself isn't big but perfect enough to maintain *not too crazy* brunch vibe. Servers were friendly and nice and food was delicious. Egg white omelette was fresh and busicuits&gravy was so savory. But I definitely recommend trying their soft, warm, and sweet cinnamon roll.

First time eating here, and I was a little confused as to how to order and pay, but it worked out in the end ! You just need to wait for a server to come by, and they will also bring a card scanner with them when you’re ready. The portions sizes are huge to make up for the price, and it was really good! I would definitely recommend this place to someone who wants a budget-friendly breakfast before heading to navy pier which is only a 8 minute walk away. I got the waffles with seasonal fruit, and my friend got the biscuits and gravy. I’m definitely coming back to try out their other sweet breakfast items 😋🧇
