“Decided it was finally time to review Kanela after coming for years. Love this place for brunch. The starters always get me - monkey bread is my go to. Also, love the fried egg sando - it has the perfect little kick.”

“Such a fun lively spot! Bright with high ceilings. First time ever having Monkey Bread. Was nice. Anastasia was a pleasure to have as our server.”

“So yum as always! The crab cakes are deep fried so beware if that’s not your thing. Still great though! Monkey bread is a mustttttt”

“The best thing about Kanela Breakfast Club is Fernanda! The coffee is great. The blueberry lemon pancakes are fantastic. The monkey bread is a little dry for my taste. The gravy is too thick. The bagels are homemade and perfect. Juices are on point.”

“Todo muy rico, solo la comida para niños es poquito pero igual de rico”

“Tried a bunch of different sweet and savory food, Red Velvet French Toast and Kanela French Toast were great, the Monkey Bread however was fantastic. Also tried the Beef filet hash and crab cake Benedict, both of which hit the spot. Crab cakes had a bit more breading than I would like, but the flavor more than made up for it. Excellent service and cute atmosphere.”

“Wonderful wait staff, great food, thoroughly impressed by the barbacks and kitchen staff that made our experience great. I came with a party from Minneapolis, we're here to play a show at the Burlington and this is my first time in the city. Couldn't have asked for a better time! Thanks Kanela!”

“Sat at the empty bar early Sunday morning not long after open. It wasn't all that busy and my order was simple. I ordered two eggs over easy with a side of bacon and toast. I waited over 30 minutes and had to ask the bartender where my order was. It finally comes out and the eggs are doused in oil. They were so oily that the plate was covered in oil despite my attempts to sop it up with several napkins. They brought me new eggs and by that time my bacon and toast were cold. I don't know how you mess up such a simple order, and ESPECIALLY at these prices. I also ordered an expensive Bloody Mary that contained very little alcohol. Will never come back here.”

“The front door slams non stop. Sat in grape jelly with khakis on. Reached out to restaurant with no reply. Lots of menu items not available.”
“I love starting with their Monkey Bread or Churro Waffle to share. Pair it with their freshly squeezed orange juice and/or a latte for the perfect brunch. My must order every time is the Fried Egg Sandwich. It’s consistently delicious! Today, Manuel was our server, and he was efficient, friendly, and attentive throughout our meal, making the experience even better. Thank you, Kanela, for another great brunch!”
