This was my first visit to the bakery, and I have to say — it’s a lovely spot.
Arrived at Lasalle and wacker Wednesday evening unaware it was 8 minutes to close.
The service has become terrible: they don't greet people at counter, they don't smile and if you ask for menu clarification - it's like they doing you a favor by answering.

Perfect place to sip nice matcha in the city! They provide water too. The place is close to city centre. Here, I enjoyed one of the best fruit tart. You can open laptop as well (if it doesn’t have any long line).

I love this place and my cappuccino w almond milk is always off the charts amazing. I give myself a treat once a week or so. Last two times tho my cappuccino was more like what you get everywhere else. Loose foam and no heart decoration. Coffee underneath bitter. Please make it amazing again 🙏. They are Back! Thank you

Great café if you're looking for something casual and done right. Even when it was busy, staff seemed calm. We did have a couple minor hiccups, but nothing out of the ordinary. I would say 4.5/5. Just don't get the cinnamon roll even though they look tasty. Lol

“Enjoyed this place for breakfast.”
Enjoyed this place for breakfast. Very convenient and easy to find. Clean, bright, busy but we found a place for five us to sit together. There was a line, but it moves fast and a lot of people grab and go. Food was all very good. Would definitely go again if we visit Chicago again.

“I stumbled on this little Jewell.”
I stumbled on this little Jewell. It has great coffee and excellent breakfast and big windows to people watch while you eat it. It’s right next to the Riverwalk so it’s located next to everything. I highly recommend. Bianca was a joy to work with an incredible.

NO clue why only 4 stars for this place. Had an incredible person at the counter who, even on a busy Sunday morning was so kind about giving recommendations. I was blown away by the vegan pastry offerings here... And the coffee is sensational. I had a Cinnamon Date Cacao Latte which is non-dairy and vegan as is, and it was one of the best lattes I've EVER had. Not too sweet and coffee-forward, great foam. Then I had a "plain" cup of decaf and I can't tell you what a rich, flavorful cup it was! I ultimately went with the hummus wrap, and it was actually really special, with avocado, fresh greens, sauce and beets too. Service was CRAZY fast and they will find you quick!! Coming back loyally whenever I'm in the city! UPDATE: Took the morning glory muffin home and it was sensational!! Sugary top and moist underneath :D

I have been to several of their locations and each time the experience has been really amazing. Not a ton of indoor seating so if you go when it’s busy you may need to stake out a seat, I just take it to go and sit by the riverwalk with the wacker one….
