“This is a must go to while in Chicago. Absolutely amazing fosoand service. And had the bbq duck and it was outstanding. Tender and flavor full. On top of a bed of rice. I can say enough good things about this. We all so had the pork and rice. The pork was crispy and tender they have this technique down. We had the spring rolls and the wanton. Stunning all around. This place has left me with a loss of words. The quality compared to the price point is something is have not seen in a long long time. It great to see there are still real restaurants out there. This place is a gem.”

“My kids said “this was so worth it” “best meal I’ve had in weeks””

“I wanted to dine in but decided to get it to go. Salt and pepper shrimp absolutely delicious. The pork was good as well. Great service”

“Great food! My chopsticks on the floor and a server offered a new one even before I asked for it. That was an exemplary service! Excellent! Guys, never miss the Peking Duck!!! It's the best in the world!”

“BBQ King House offers affordable prices with generous portions that are perfect for sharing. The menu has a wide variety of dishes to choose from, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Service is friendly, and complimentary tea is a nice bonus that adds to the overall dining experience. A great spot for good food and value!”

“I was in town for business and had a few hours to indulge the foodie side of me, and I’m so glad I found BBQ King House in Chinatown Plaza. This place serves some of the most authentic Hong Kong–style barbecue in Chicago. The roast duck was incredible — perfectly glazed, juicy, and full of rich flavor — and the crispy pork belly had that authentic crunch that’s hard to find anywhere else. I also tried the salt and pepper shrimp, which was light, crispy, and packed with that classic garlic and pepper flavor. The portions were generous, and everything tasted freshly made. The restaurant has that no-frills, authentic local feel where the food truly speaks for itself. If you love real Chinese BBQ or want to experience something that feels straight out of Hong Kong, this spot is a must-visit.”

“We ordered whole roasted duck, stir drien ho fan noodles, seafood fried rice, dumplings soap and all of them were pretty delicious. The roasted duck was super juicy and not dry. The sauce made it real deal when paired with the roasted duck. The lady that serves us was so friendly.”

“Food was delicious. Roasted duck 10/10. The sides 10/10. The pork 9/10. Big family friendly.”

“Rating 5 stars just for the rice in bamboo chicken dish!! Would eat this again in a heartbeat just because of how light the taste was and how filling the dish was. Also tried the pork bbq over rice and that was delicious as well :) servers were nice too!”

“BBQ was decent even at closing hours and getting the last food of the night.”

“One of the best roasted duck. It fits the name BBQ King.”
