The tacos are good.
Carne asada tacos were mid they were a bit dry and lacked flavor but the tacos de pastor were pretty good.
Good tacos lots of meat but the pastor looks like dog food, tastes like mixed up chorizo and beans not very appealing did taste well had to throw it out.

Legendary Mexican restaurant on the south side. Ive been going to this place for over 20 years. Awesome Tacos and tortas. A certified mexican chicago staple. It doesn’t get more authentic than Pacos Tacos!

Most places in the city will give you small tacos. Not pacos, they give you HUGE tacos packed with meat. Everything is flavorful and comes out fresh and fast.

I went to the other locations years ago, and I didn't care much for the food to ever go back a second time. Now, to this location was my first time going, and wow, was I surprise! The tacos were awesome!! And huge!!!! The place was busy, but we still got our food pretty quickly. Everything was great! I'm not much of a salsa person, but I did enjoy the green salsa. I actually went a second time about a week later because of how good they were. Definitely in my top 3 fave restaurants.

Pacos Tacos is one of those places you call home, a hidden gem, located in multiple places around the city. This place is the first thing you have to do if you come from out of town or if you are a permanent resident in chicago. It's an iconic location to eat an incredible meal and on top of that you have the rare opportunity to interact with the chef, while cooking your tacos, right in front of your eyes! The best tacos on the south side of all of Chicago. Been coming here since i moved to the city. My go to is the steak tacos with everything on them, onions, cilantro, a touch of lime and don't forget the red and also green homemade salsa. The meat is so soft and I love the flavor that comes with every bite, Very genuine. If you are still hungry, for seconds i have to go with the barbacoa tacos, those are even better and so tender. Especially with a cold Jaritos for a drink. If you had to eat one meal for the rest of my life it would recommend these tacos. I've been coming to this place for years and i will never stop, this is a place for the soul and heart. I can tell you you have a reliable customer for life.
