“the food was amazing !!!! 🤤🤤 the price was AMAZING for the quality of fish. I enjoyed every nigiri ordered and wish I could fit more in my stomach”

“Unpretentious high end sushi in a casual setting. When complimenting the sushi chef Joe on the uni and raw scallops, informed our party that they ship from Hokkaido Japan vs domestically. Also 1st time have real fresh wasabi, vs the artificial green paste, did t even realize I’ve been eating artificial wasabi all my life. Great experience will be going back.”

“By far the best sushi I've ever had. Everything was fresh and so delicious! Presentation was on point and they serve real wasabi! On the house! They are not stingy with it! 10/10!”

“I was introduced to hand rolls in Austin, TX (but I live in Chicago). Since the introduction, I've always been looking for a go-to hand roll spot in Chicago and 312 Fish Market has been my savior. Not only has it reaffirmed my love for hand rolls, but it's become my addiction... the quality and quantity of fish this place provides is an impressive ratio given the price (vs sushi market). I mean, look at those beauties in the picture I attached! On top of the food, it's so cool how the restaurant is lodged in a bustling Asian food market. Making for an unique experience from the sit down to the first bite. Highly recommend and it's the only sushi place I trust on UberEats.”

“This is the closest sushi restaurant to match the best sushi restaurants in Tokyo. It’s all about the quality of the fish, and the chef’s. I realized how good it was and could not add soy sauce anymore. The location makes you feel like you are in China. Highly recommend the salmon with truffles.”

“🍣🍱 OMG!!! The guys at this counter inside the Asian market on the second floor are phenomenal. Thank you thank you for such wonderful recommendations at the end of a tirelessly long day. I so appreciate it! The sushi was impeccable! I ordered takeout and it fresh and just such quality cuts. Trust me you will not be disappointed. I will be back!”

“This gem is tucked away in an unassuming Chinese grocery store food court. Ordered Unagi don, Chirashi, and Salmon krudo. All amazing. Unagi don was probably the best I had in recent years. This is miles above the frozen unagi that you can buy from grocery stores. The fish has great texture. The sauce was not overpowering. The rice had little bits of pickled radishes, elevating the whole flavor. Chirashi was about $10 more expensive, but it had many high quality and expensive fish types. Again the rice had bits of pickled radish. Salmon krudo was also amazing. Whatever they did in terms of the flavor, they did it right.”

“Top 10 sushi in Chicago! You cannot get better quality fish than what they serve here.”

“This place is great! The sushi is fresh and they have so much variety and options. Have been coming here more than 4 times now. Love their otoro flights and the sushi platter which is great for sharing with friends. This is BYOB and they have a lot of seating. It’s located inside 88 Marketplace”

“very pricey but very high quality! probably the best quality sushi I've had in Chicago tbh— you're definitely getting your money's worth quality-wise. everything, the fish, obviously, the rice, and even down to the wasabi and soy sauce, everything is fantastic. I will say that it's strange that this place in inside of 88 Market tho, as typically this kind of store would be more of a casual take-out spot, but this is a "we're going out for a fine dining experience" spot lol.”

“10/10 would recommend. Some of the better sushi that I’ve had in a long time. It’s good quality, well made sushi which is all it needs to be. Are their fancier places that have twice the menus size, yes absolutely. However if you are looking for a spot that is consistent and genuinely good tasting clean sushi, 312 is the best spot you can hit up. Not to mention the benefit of being able to shop right after.”
