Wrigleyville Dogs — neighborhood american in Lakeview. The kind of spot that earns loyalty, not hype, and open late. "Also the gyro was definitely the best I've ever had" — Moses Chairez [$]

🌙Late night — the kitchen runs past 10.

These folks are absolute legends! If you're looking for a great late-night meal, this is the place to go. Everything I've tried has been delicious, but the gyros are easily the best in the neighborhood. They're packed with flavor, made fresh, and you can customize your toppings without paying extra, which is always appreciated. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making every visit a great experience. Between the amazing food, fair prices, and excellent service, it's easy to see why this place has become one of my favorites. I'll definitely be back again soon. Highly recommended!

I eat at this hotdog restaurant all the time! Even when I was a little kid growing up over here, I would always eat here, me, my mom, and my family, we was here like in the 1980s, or 1970s this is another restaurant that has stayed in wriggleville for so many decades, and you are still holding on and still making good food over the years, I love eating at this place, keep up with the good work ok,

Wrigleyville Dogs has been feeding Cubs fans and concert-goers near the ballpark since the early nineties, and the no-frills counter setup makes it clear this place isn't trying to be anything other than exactly what it is. We stopped in before a game, and even with the crowd building outside, the line moved fast and we were eating within minutes. The Chicago-style hot dog is the obvious order, an all-beef Vienna Beef dog loaded with mustard, relish, onions, tomato, pickle, sport peppers, and celery salt on a poppy seed bun, no ketchup in sight. It hit every note you want from a proper Chicago dog, snap on the casing, the right balance of toppings without anything sliding off. We also got the Italian beef, thinly sliced and tender, dipped just enough to keep the bread from falling apart before you finish it. A side of fries rounded things out, simple and crispy, nothing fancy but exactly what you want alongside a dog before heading into the ballpark. Someone in our group tried the chicken pita, which turned out to be a pleasant surprise, well-seasoned and bigger than expected. There's a drive-thru now too if you'd rather skip the walk-up line entirely, along with both indoor and outdoor seating depending on how crowded the area gets before first pitch.

I have come here many drunken nights (as they’re open late on weekends) to grab my favorite chili-dog! However, last night I arrived at 10:57pm (I DIDNT KNOW THEY CLOSE at 11p DURING THE WEEK) the employees still took the BEST care of us and even allowed us to continue dining inside the restaurant past closing! If I could give them 100 stars I would. Loved this place already and now they have a forever customer out of me.

Directly across the street from the metro so if you see a concert there, you have to go across the street and get a hot dog. It’s also about a block from Wrigleyville baseball field. If you want to they even park cars so for a metro show you’re directly across the street like 20 feet from the door and it’s $30. I parked like a half a block away for 15 it’s a better deal but their food is great and I’m guessing for a baseball game if it would be more, I don’t know how much but love their hotdog on the guys are really nice
