“Food is absolutely phenomenal and reasonably priced for as good as it is!! It’s fast, fresh, delicious and convenient. There are vegetarian and vegan options and they always do a great job with food allergies, too! We love La Mexicana!!! Favorite restaurant in Chicago!”
“Fantastic vegetarian and vegan options. Their tofu is excellent -- firm and flavorful and not at all greasy -- and available as a protein option for nearly all dishes (they also offer grilled veggies and guacamole, as well as my wife’s favorite option, fried avocado). I love the Tofu Bowl, which is affordable, relatively healthy, and just filling enough. Open late, so perfect for a bite after a concert at Metro or nighttime Cubs game. Friendly customer service. Pleasant dining area. And don't forget to add their outstanding churros and fried plantains (order the latter without cheese if you want them vegan). If you are ordering delivery, order direct from the restaurant: you can get points and periodic discount offers, and you get more money to the restaurant.”

“Had to get their objectively ridiculous “Picante Bowl”, which features Flamin’ Hot Cheetos instead of rice. Got no protein alongside so can’t judge that, but for an almost midnight meal post a fun night out, yeah this surprisingly was good as hell. Staff was also super duper kind. There’s a decent amount of seating but some chaotic activity happening on the street we were on which unfortunately brought down the vibe a bit. Not their fault tho.”
“I had a door dash pick up from this place I was hungry from running around all day so I decided to order a taco the tall lady had a very bad attitude and was very rude she charged me extra for steak and I asked her why did you charge me extra she said the owner does I don’t and walked away all rude and unprofessional don’t recommend this place specially with employees like that never again”
