“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My daughter and I recently had dinner at The Gage, located right across from Millennium Park, and we had a wonderful experience. The porcini mushroom risotto was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. We also really enjoyed the pasta made with toasted flour and a flavorful meat sauce. The tiramisu was incredibly light, delicate, and delicious. Everything was beautifully prepared, and we would definitely love to come back!”

Hands down the best French fries I have ever had. I also could not stop eating the cheeseburger. Our dirty martini had the right amount of shaken ice in it to make it the perfect cocktail on a very hot day. If you want to stop in for a quick bite or a full dinner the Gage is the right spot for you. If you are even remotely interested in going then wait no longer. Go now. You will be so happy you did.”

“Another good spot! We spent the day at the Sox game and made it over to millennium Park. We were hungry and wanted to avoid the Taste of Chicago. We were under dressed (imo) to sit inside so we took patio seating. Corn and crab dip was awesome! Scallops were done to perfection and the chicken fried lobster was great as well. Venison burger super tasty but dont go beyond medium with it, very lean meat and will be a hockey puck if you go medium well or well done. Waitress and staff were attentive and very kind.”
“I had a nice break here and ate lunch. First time in Chicago I walked all day long. I’m not mad. lol upon entering the gage it had a vibe and I loved it. The menu was so awesome I wanted everything. They were out of the seasonal tuna salad I originally wanted but I had a second pick already lined up the steak salad. THIS WAS THE BEST STEAK SALAD I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. you wouldn’t think it would be that special but it was!!!! So tasty. Oh! I also had a cup of the watermelon feta gazpacho which was also AMAZING!!!! Highly recommended. My waitress was super friendly, nice and on point. And THE STEAK WAS COOKED TO PERFECTION 🤌🤌🤌”

“Had lunch here and were seated right away. Our server greeted us promptly and took our drink order immediately. We ordered the venison burger and, honestly, I was hesitant at first because I was worried it might be too gamey. However, our server did a great job explaining what to expect, and she was absolutely right. The venison patty was juicy, flavorful, and exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Service was attentive and efficient throughout our meal. They also have an impressive selection of signature cocktails. I didn’t end up trying one because the drink I was interested in sounded a bit too strong for lunch, but it’s definitely given me a reason to come back later for drinks. Overall, I left as a very happy customer and would gladly return.”

I’ve had many burgers in my life, but never a medium-well this perfectly executed intensely buttery, rich, and stacked with bread-meat-bread perfection. If you’re visiting Chicago and want to experience a true classic done exceptionally well, The Gage is a must-try. Because in the end, the first bite is the real judge… and this one found gold. 🍔✨”
