From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was outstanding. The owner personally made sure we were seated right away and checked in throughout our visit to ensure we were enjoying ourselves—even after the meal was over. That level of care really stood out. The service was fantastic. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made the experience effortless. Every dish we tried was excellent, but the Crying Tiger is absolutely to die for—packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. Aroy Thai isn’t just great food, it’s a great experience. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for incredible Thai food in Chicago.

“My friend and I had a papaya salad for the first time and it was so good.”

My friend and I had a papaya salad for the first time and it was so good! Refreshing and spicy. Even though we’re not the biggest fans of papaya we liked this dish a lot. We also got the crab rangoon which were delicious! My friend got the red curry with chicken and I got pad see-ew noodles with chicken. Both dishes were delicious. The Thai iced tea and coffee were also *chefs kiss*. We honestly couldn’t have asked for better customer service. Our waitress was very kind and attentive to us despite having multiple tables. She always made sure we had enough water and the owner even came out to ask us how the food was. You can tell they really care about their customers and their experience at their establishment. They are cash only, but they do have an ATM inside. We definitely will be coming back and trying more dishes ❤️.

I've been here twice now and I am always happy with my meal. The staff is always friendly and the food is good. Last time the Pad Prik King was great and extra spicy 🥵. This time I have to recommend the spicy sausage. It was so good I forget what my main dish was. It is made in house and a perfect mix of herbs and spices. The Best in Chicago IMO. Again my wife was happy with her dish off the Thai menu (written in Thai for Thai, lol).

Delicious food and speedy service with the online ordering! Ordered the special, Sticky Rice Pad Jeow, it was spicy for me but it was delicious! Pad Kee Mao Shrimp, was also delicious, very spicy for us, with level 2 spice, but delicious! Would order again!

I love this place, I must say the papaya salad is always great for starters along with The sauté chicken. And the pad Thai is to die for. My friend loves the chicken curry very flavorful. The picture below is the sticky mango rice delicious dessert. It hits the spot. Great ambience with great service highly recommend this place!!
