“Gotta say the food was amazing!!! Really enjoyed the mango rice and papaya salad. Service was phenomal, its cozy and friendly staff! Will come back again and take the drive from the midway area up north.”

“First time. Great flavors. The staff was warm and friendly. Loved the service and tasty dishes. Love the pad Thai”

“One of our new favorite Thai restaurant! It is so delicious & my favorite is the Sticky Rice Pad Jeow! I’m definitely coming back all the time”

“From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was outstanding. The owner personally made sure we were seated right away and checked in throughout our visit to ensure we were enjoying ourselves—even after the meal was over. That level of care really stood out. The service was fantastic. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made the experience effortless. Every dish we tried was excellent, but the Crying Tiger is absolutely to die for—packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. Aroy Thai isn’t just great food, it’s a great experience. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for incredible Thai food in Chicago.”

“Couldn’t have asked for better Thai food. The boat noodles, pork salad and pad see ew were all incredible”

“2nd time this month to Aroy Thai lol. It was so good the first time so I came back with more friends to try out more dishes. Really enjoyed the boat noodles, sticky rice with crispy beef, pumpkin curry (super hood for for fall!), and as always the banana sticky rice. Food is impressive as always with not long of a waiting time given how busy they were on a Saturday night. Service is as friendly as usual. Again a must have for Thai!!”

“My friend and I had a papaya salad for the first time and it was so good! Refreshing and spicy. Even though we’re not the biggest fans of papaya we liked this dish a lot. We also got the crab rangoon which were delicious! My friend got the red curry with chicken and I got pad see-ew noodles with chicken. Both dishes were delicious. The Thai iced tea and coffee were also *chefs kiss*. We honestly couldn’t have asked for better customer service. Our waitress was very kind and attentive to us despite having multiple tables. She always made sure we had enough water and the owner even came out to ask us how the food was. You can tell they really care about their customers and their experience at their establishment. They are cash only, but they do have an ATM inside. We definitely will be coming back and trying more dishes ❤️.”

“ร้านอาหารไทยในต่างแดนที่รสชาติอร่อยกว่าร้านอาหารไทยในเมืองไทย เจ้าของอัธยาศัยดีมาก แนะนำส้มตำ ซุปหน่อไม้ เสือร้องไห้ ก๋วยเตี๋ยวน้ำตกเนื้อ ไข่เจียว ต้มแซ่บซี่โครงหมู และหมูน้ำตก…”

“We are Thai and we love eating here. One of the best Thai restaurants we ever had outside the US. The staffs are also very friendly and kind. Thank you for making our evening so great. Def recommend this place to others.”

“Love this place for Thai. It is cash only, so be prepared. Mango sticky rice and papaya salad are my favorite.”
