“I love this place in the neighborhood!! Super fresh fish and a really inviting style. It's great for a date night or to just talk with a friend for a long time because of the atmosphere!”

“Takibi is such a cozy, welcoming Japanese spot. While the sushi and maki are excellent, the fresh salads they serve alongside are a real standout. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the space is spotless. If you’re a salad lover, you can’t miss Takibi!”

“Fantastic, each plate was made with delicious ingredients”

“Amazing food, amazing service, amazing atmosphere. Truly my favorite sushi spot and no other place i’ve been to can even compare to Takibi. The chef/owner has an eye for detail and recognizes the importance of good service. The rolls are always amazing but the nigiri is deliciously paired with small toppings that complement the flavors perfectly. I haven’t tried any of the ramen, however, if it’s anything like the rest of the food, i’m sure it’s amazing.”

“Ramen was delicious. A different broth to the standard tonkatsu, but wonderfully rich tasting and the pork was plentiful and wonderfully marinated.”

“Haven’t ever dined in here, usually order takeout, but today’s experience was even tastier!! The sushi chef and server/sous were both wonderfully friendly and welcoming. The sushi rolls were delicious and refreshingly cooling after a long day at the lakefront. Their spicy tuna roll is perfectly sauced, and the avocado is always creamy fresh and beautiful. Their miso soup tastes more chicken-y than I’m accustomed too, but it was actually quite good. We also ordered avocado and cucumber maki rolls, and a shrimp tempura roll that comes with sweet potatoes and veggies — so solid! And we tried their Korean beef bowl, which we could only take a few bites of because we ordered more food than we realized. Yay, leftovers!!”

“Amazing fish quality and customer service. Ramen is very fresh and properly seasoned broth. Chef choice is the best for nigiri. I would recommend every item on the menu. Never misses. Small area but food comes out quick. Highly recommend to visit. Only open for a couple of hours.”

“The restaurant was absolutely amazing! Best sashimi I’ve ever had. All of the food was delicious, and the staff were so friendly. We loved being there for our friend’s birthday celebration. The owner and staff were so kind when we had a large party of 12 which took up a good majority of the seats. All meals were served in a great and timely manner. Plus platting was very pretty and atmosphere was fun!”
