“We worked with Sweet Mandy B's for our wedding desserts, and couldn't have had a more positive experience! I had a very specific vision of a "cupcake parade," where instead of being served by the venue staff, the bridal party paraded out carrying trays of cupcakes. Each bridesmaid carried trays of cupcakes that correlated with the color of the dress they were wearing. Sweet Mandy B's was incredible - very responsive and more than willing to help execute my vision. But the best part was the taste! We got SO many compliments from wedding guests about how delicious the cupcakes were - they were a massive hit. They also designed a beautiful small cake for my husband and I to cut which we enjoyed and will continue to enjoy on our next anniversary. If you are having a Chicago wedding, look no further than Sweet Mandy B's for your cake needs :)”

“We came to get a small cake on a Saturday morning. We didn’t make a pre-order and snagged the last little cake. It was about $40 and extremely good. I know cake. The frosting was so rich and fudgy. The sponge was moist. The balance between frosting and sponge was perfect for me (others may say too much frosting but they just don’t like fun). The bakery as a whole has so many classic and fun options for cupcakes, brownies, etc. great place!”
“We chose Sweet Mandy B’s for our wedding cake and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! We didn’t have a clear vision going in. We were simply looking for a small cake to cut, but after seeing a design in their reviews, I knew it was exactly what I wanted. The team did a wonderful job customizing it to match our wedding colors. We decided on a white cake with vanilla buttercream frosting, filled with cheesecake and strawberry preserves. It was absolutely delicious! We weren’t there for the delivery, but we didn’t hear of any issues. Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish and we highly recommend them!”

One of the biggest reasons we went with them is that their cakes are moist, flavorful, and truly enjoyable to eat. Many wedding cakes from other vendors can feel dense or heavy, but Sweet Mandy B’s stood out immediately for taste and texture. We ordered a three tier cake with raspberry preserve and vanilla buttercream, and it ended up being one of the best cakes we have ever had. “Great desserts! I was in the area so I came here but I will go to the streeterville location going forward since it’s closer to me. The CINNAMON ROLL was amazing. Going on my list of best ones in Chicago! Soo so good. The sugar cookie also great! Just exactly what I look for when I have a sugar cookie with icing. The strawberry cupcake with vanilla icing was amazing too!! I want to come back and try more flavors 😊 but tough since it’s summer and I want to stay bikini ready 😭 I also love the playlist they had going! When I left, an employee made sure to thank me for coming and to have a good day—I appreciated it. The world is crazy and very small gestures help make it easier to keep going. Only feedback I have would be to give the bathroom a little more love. 💕”
