“The quiches and tartines are particularly good if you want something savory, while the cookies and scones are excellent choices for a quick treat”

“Love this bakery.”
Love this bakery. Their quiche is so rich and custardy. The spinach one I did not love the spinach was at the top and not mixed in through the quiche, but the classic one was delicious. Also I love love love their almond croissants. Things are in the pricer side but really good food and lovely service and place.

I visited W. Lakeview last week and spotted Floriole by chance. Had a delicious croissant and latte, then purchased a frozen quart container of Moroccan lentil soup to take home. I've never had better: perfectly spiced, full of lentils, carrots, celery and maybe a touch of onion. Not sure of the spices but they're superb. The café was also well-lit and quiet, though nearly full of people, so I worked peacefully for two hours, and no one tried to hurry me along. Going forward, this will be a twice a month visit! 🧡

A must-visit if you’re in Lincoln Park, their menu is constantly rotating depending on what’s in season. The onion marmalade & sweet potato danish is my favorite, the honey pecan sticky bun is a close second.

Fantastic pastries some of which are very beautiful. Great breakfast sandwich and broad bread selection. A small market area, as well. Highly recommended!

This café was packed on a gorgeous Saturday , and the staff handled the rush like pros—friendly, efficient, and keeping things moving smoothly. Lots of seats on Dec floor with restroom!! Everything on the menu looked amazing, especially the sweets. Quiche is the best and love the carrot cake they offered. Great coffee where is from my favorite coffee bean roastery, Metric! It’s clear why this place is so popular.

Floriole is a bright, airy café with plenty of seating across two floors to enjoy coffee and pastries & get work done. They offer a wide variety of baked goods - we tried the Raspberry Basque Cake (soft and nutty) and the Irish Tart (rich, chocolatey, and caramel-y), both of which were well-executed. The coffee selection is also super solid, with various espresso-based drinks; the Pot O’ Gold special was a standout with warm turmeric and cardamom flavors that added a lovely kick. Note that the café closes at 2pm so be sure to stop by in the morning. Overall, it’s a lovely spot to grab a coffee, enjoy a pastry, and unwind in a relaxed atmosphere.

“Floriole Cafe & Bakery was exactly the cozy, welcoming spot we needed to start our morning.”
Floriole Cafe & Bakery was exactly the cozy, welcoming spot we needed to start our morning. The moment we walked in, the air was thick with the warm, heavenly aromas of freshly brewed coffee and pastries straight out of the oven. It’s one of those places that feels like a hidden treasure; with its bright, open space and calm vibe, it’s the perfect setting to kick off the day. We ordered a mocha, and it was love at first sip. Rich and velvety, the coffee was perfectly balanced—not too sweet, but with just the right hint of chocolate to complement the deep, full-bodied espresso. The foam on top was light and creamy, adding a luxurious touch to each sip. For breakfast, we couldn’t resist the Honey Pecan Sticky Bun. Made from flaky croissant dough rolled around a cinnamon-sugar filling, each bite was an indulgent experience. The bun was perfectly golden, with a fluffy interior and just the right amount of crispness on the edges. The orange zest in the filling brought a subtle citrus note that balanced the gooey, caramelized honey glaze beautifully, while the toasted pecans on top added a delightful crunch and a hint of warmth. The combination of textures and flavors was simply out of this world. Floriole Cafe & Bakery is a true gem—whether you're craving expertly crafted coffee or a pastry that feels like a work of art, it’s a spot that leaves a lasting impression. We’ll definitely be back for more!
