I went here for dinner when visiting Chicago and I cant wait to go back. The food was amazing, the service was very quick and there were so many great options to pick from we had to taste a little bit of everything. Also the presentation was just beautiful so had to take pictures!

“Small beautiful boutique restaurant.”

Small beautiful boutique restaurant. Large portions of food. Very tasty and flavorful. I had the BBQ beef brisket quesadillas with the street corn (which was not on the menu) . Both were phenomenal!! My sister friend had the shrimp a la florentine. For drinks infused water, or lemonade is all they have. Or you can purchase a bottle of wine or something for $20. Menus are different for lunch & dinner. I recommend reservations. There is a $10 cancelation fee for reservations or no-shows. Limited parking. Staff wss nice.

I celebrated My Birthday with friends at The Soul Food Lounge II (Southside Location). I met Tiffany Burrell, she was very welcoming and attentive to our needs. I Love the vibe and atmosphere was chill, the music was pefect for a Midday Lunch. The food presentation was top tier, and the food was very favorable and portions were huge . I ordered the Shrimp A La Florentine with Mango lemonade and infused Cucumber water. I was so full I needed a to go bag. I highly recommend this restaurant. Next up the Westside location for dinner with Chef Quentin Love

“Food was so delicious and flavorful.”

Food was so delicious and flavorful! I went for my friend’s Birthday and we had a really nice time. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant. The service was pleasant and attentive. We even met the owner who is very sweet. I saw good reviews and Gary Owen’s talk about it on his comedy show. That is what really drove it home and helped me narrow down this spot for the celebration. Thank you, and I hope you always keep good quality service for everyone.

“Service and food were excellent.”

Service and food were excellent. Atmosphere was clean and quiet. My wife and I were the only dinners until we were almost done with dinner. Our host was both friendly and attentive. We both ordered the 3 Entre Meal Sampler; even as samples, we were quite surprised at quantity, quality and presentation of each sample. We had a great time, and would both revisit & recommend.

A must try! I ate the grand tasting menu option where I chose three meals from the dinner menu + a glass of lemonade (it comes with wine or champagne options but I wasn’t drinking that night) and when I say the food was GOOD!!! Literally one of the best food experiences I’ve had here in Chicago. I promise it does not disappoint. I had the Mac and cheese surf and turf (not pictured because it came out first and I ate it too fast), the catfish + spaghetti, and the lobster + dressing… and a slice of their pound cake (also not pictured because I took it home since I was so full). All of it was full flavor, presented very well, and was delicious end to end. The portions for the grand tasting menu are also a nice size, so you definitely get your money’s worth. I went with a big group so I tried food from other people and the other plates were just as good. I’ve never been to a restaurant where the every dish was consistently good. I think you could choose anything off the menu and enjoy it fully. I’m definitely coming back again and can’t wait to try brunch. Also, music was a vibe the whole time and they were super quick with the service. Definitely a 5 star experience!

It truly is a great vibe with amazing food. I loved the $69 3 entree meal and the wine. The flavors burst on your tongue heavenly everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. We will be back soon!!!!

We had lunch here before going to the theater and it was a great discovery. Franshon, hopefully I spelled that right, was a gem. She was helpful before we even parked, lol. Tiffany, the owner was hands on with staff in a good managerial way. We didn't know prior to arrival that there would be a preset menu. But all is well because we enjoyed every bite.

Going in, I knew I would love the food Quentin love never misses…I’ve probably eaten at every restaurant he’s ever invented. The decor and style of the place is very modern contemporary black with Gold finishes and accents.. the food was delicious I got in for lunch so even the street parking wasn’t too bad.. I’ll definitely be back.. I’m sure this won’t be his last restaurant creation so I’ll either be back here or on to the future to see what else he creates

“The New Orleans Seafood Gumbo was amazing.”

The New Orleans Seafood Gumbo was amazing. The meat is beef for the non pork eaters like myself. The pepper steak and rice was amazing. I had dinner there and ordered a plate to go. I can't wait to go back.
