Kia was our server and she was very nice but food was slow. Party of four and everybody's food came at different times. Grits were horrible. Barbecue sauce on Salmon didn't fit the dish. Very good jerk sauce. Asparagus cooked perfectly. Blackened catfish was good but a little salty. Some food didn't come until we were finished eating Drinks were good but pricey. Meal for 2 with 2 starters, 2 drinks and 2 entrees and extra sides $254. Loved the music

I made a reservation For Sunday at 8:30 PM. I did not receive a water or a menu until 20 minutes later and that’s because I had to flag down a staff member who happened to be in the manager for a menu. I was never introduced to my server, but they probably didn’t care as an automatic 18% gratuity is taken out regardless of service. I have been to the other location numerous times when visiting Chicago and received phenomenal service, so I had high expectations for this new location. The ambience was beautiful, but the service was extremely slow and I understand a restaurant being fairly new, but first impressions matter and having to ask for a menu, water, and receiving my food 90 minutes later at 10 PM is inhospitable for any restaurant especially since it was not that busy and staff seemed to be lingering around.

“Our experience at Soul Vibez Signature was fantastic!! The atmosphere was cozy and warm, perfect for lunch or dinner. I highly recommend the Lamb Chops, greens and Mac and cheese!!! And the stuff Salmon along with the sweet potatoes!! It was incredible fresh, packed with flavor and expertly crafted. The drinks are delicious too!! The service was top-notch, with attentive staff who made us feel right at home. Can’t wait to return!”
