Restaurant vibe was good, the shrimp and grits and deviled eggs is a mist here. Recommend the tortillas chips soup for that southern style taste to warm you up. The corn on the side also complimented our dish.

When in a new city sometimes you have to stick to tried and true eateries. This location did not disappoint! Mmy first time having the key lime it was not only delicious but esthetically pleasing. I loved the fact that it was 2 stories and the private wine room was super classy.

Had an amazing time at Yardbird last night! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. Huge shoutout to Henry at the door and Cindy, our waitress! They were so sweet and helpful, making us feel right at home. The happy hour was an awesome deal and it had a great ambiance for girl's night out or date night! We were looking for a quick place to eat when we got in town for the Beyoncé concert on Saturday May 17 after a long road trip. Yardbird had just what I wanted breakfast even though we had arrived around 2pm. I opted for the All American Breakfast with scrambled eggs rather than over easy, sausage, bacon, hash brown and toast. It was a huge amount of food. Everything was tasty except for the hash browns..that was the only negative.I didn’t care for the taste. Coffee was very,very good so I had to get a second cup. Others in my group had the skillet cornbread, avocado toast,whole lobster Mac n cheese, over easy egg with shrimp on grits, and y’all the “Little Gem Caesar salad was AMAZING! I wish I had ordered that..but I got to have a taste and wow..was it delicious!!! Order it you will not be disappointed if you’re a salad lover like me. The servers were attentive, polite and very efficient. I definitely recommend Yardbird in Chicago. The food is delicious and the service is professional. I only gave a 4 star for food because I disliked the taste of the hash browns..but that’s my personal taste.. try it for yourself..you may like it.

“Outstanding service and delicious food.”

Outstanding service and delicious food! This was my second time dining at Yardbird (my first was in Dallas a few years ago), and this location absolutely lives up to the brand’s high standard. We had a larger group and ordered quite a few things, everything was delicious and well prepared. But the real standout of our visit was our server, Andrew. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and made wonderful recommendations and pairings throughout the night. I could write an entire review on his service alone! If the company is paying attention, promote that man. He’s a true asset to your team and would make an excellent long-term investment. Yardbird continues to impress, and this visit only confirmed that it’s one of my favorite places for great food and even better hospitality. Can’t wait to come back!

The food and ambiance were great, not too casual and not too stiff. Food and service excellent. Menu was diverse and had options for all palates. I selected the shrimp and grits and it was really good (I was by myself and the other dishes seemed too large for me). Absolutely recommend.
