“Had the best time & the biggest food baby! My mother suggested this place saying the food was amazing. Cannot thank our waitress Deri enough for all the suggestions. There wasn’t one item I didn’t like. This place will have me dreaming about this food for a minute. Ordered enough to try a spread and this food melted in my mouth. Everything paired so well. Our server was so kind and provided the best info on how to go about the menu. Will definitely NEED to come back to say hello to Deri & also order something petite like one of everything. Thank you to the business & it’s great workers.”

“Finally had the chance to try the food here thanks to their generous and concious Too Good To Go Program. The food was plentiful and delicious, especially still warm despite the long wait due to the popularity of this location. The sweet beans and rice were savory and delicious, the chicken was soft and flavorful. The Mac and cheese side was creamy and tasted home-made. Wonderful staff and amazing food.”
“I should have went to the 35th location! The service was straight to the point sever had no personality! The food came out in 3 mins everything Luke warm! 35th location everything comes out smoking hot. I couldn't believe both locations have same owner! I would have never thought. My tigh was not cooked all the way through! Corn bread was stale we didn't even eat it. I will never come back here! Very unhappy! I felt like I ate leftover!”
“Terrible. They Gave us old food that was prepared DAYS ago. My catfish was STALE, my sides were STALE, the green beans were the only thing that was fine. They Gave us banana pudding with no vanilla wavers just cream and brown bananas. I will NEVER EVER NEVER spend another dime in this establishment. They have went downhill terribly they use to be really good but I’m not sure what’s going on really wish I could get my money back couldn’t even eat it all I tried my best to enjoy it because I spent over $60 after picking around the food I simply threw the rest out.”
“Ordered 2 fried wings for BOGO free with Mac & cheese, potato salad via UberEats. When I received it, the potato salad was missing. The best they can do is call & ask for a substitution if they don’t have potato salad but they didn’t. They left it empty. Not worth $20 especially when missing a side.”
“I haven’t been to this location in over a 10 years this was my spot when I lived in the area. When I tell you the integrity of the food has not changed food was bomb then and it is still bomb!! Rizon, our waiter, was on top of his game we appreciate the excellent service! This will always be my first stop when I’m back home!”

She was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. Her warm personality and outstanding customer service made everyone feel welcome, and she made sure we had everything we needed.
