Jorge, Luigi and the team deliver an incredible experience.. my craft cocktail (bitters and bourbon) was great. However, the real differentiator is the incredible service the entire team delivers. It is heartfelt and noticeable. The space is incredibly cool.. and the atmosphere (my daughters say”vibe” ) is truly unique.. thank you Press Room crew

Great staff and amazing cocktails! We went to another bar afterwards, and it felt like those drinks were one dimensional after how great the cocktails were here! Highly recommend. The mussels were delicious!

I’m writing this the morning after because I can’t stop thinking about dinner at The Press Room in West Loop. The drinks were absolutely delicious, and the secret cocktail of the day was explained so eloquently it made me feel like I was in on something exclusive. But the star was the food. The skirt steak came out perfectly charred on the outside, juicy and tender inside, with a bright, herby chimichurri that lit it up with flavor. The corn salad was colorful and refreshing, with sweet kernels, crunchy greens, and just the right touch of zest. I asked for a spicy aioli on the side and the kitchen nailed it... creamy, bold, and fiery enough to take every bite up a level. Just look at the plate: vibrant greens, golden corn, glistening steak, and that rich sauce pooling underneath. It’s the kind of dish you want to stare at before diving in, and then you can’t put your fork down once you start. The Press Room is elegant without being stuffy, and the service is sharp, thoughtful, and on point. Easily one of the best meals I’ve had in Chicago this year.

Fun find in West Loop. Inventive and tasty cocktails with very friendly and attentive staff. Came in for a night cap, so cocktails only no food. Definitely recommend.

Moody vibe, great food and great cocktails! We walked in while waiting for a table at another restaurant and we found a seat right away and got some tasty small bites and drinks. A great cozy spot for friends or a date!

Came here for happy hour!!!! Ordered their dollar oysters and a cocktail for 8$. The service was great and the room itself was dark and cozy. A great place to cool off since it was a hot when we went. I would definitely come back here. Plus they were nice enough for me to use one of their sockets to charge.

“Well this little gem just came outta nowhere.”

Well this little gem just came outta nowhere. Ok, not entirely true but if you blink, you can miss it. Was in the neighborhood meeting friends at another place and they suggested The Press Room. Open the door, down the stairs to this hiding spot with great food and amazing cocktails. Super dark but not creepy. I don’t know how many people know about this but I love thinking it’s a spot for chosen few. 🤭

Small intimate basement cocktail bar just off the main West Loop bar path. We came for the first time and really liked their cocktails, they have a limited menu but this is more of a before or after dinner bar. We did have their crab dip which was really good and had huge chicken of crab. Service was very attentive and for the price the cocktails were all well made. They have a happy hour from Mon - Thursday from 4-6p.

Perfect place to get good cocktails and some small plates in a very intimate atmosphere. I highly recommend getting oysters and a charcuterie board that goes perfect with their amazing cocktails. I got the Gin & Tonic, which was fantastic!
