“The Tonkatsu Sando ($15.08) was delicious, served fresh and quickly. The tonkatsu was crunchy despite being soaked in sauce, and the bread was very soft. I especially liked the sweet potato chips.”

“YUMMMMM! My first time having a Japanese sandwich. We got an eggplant sando and a KFC sando. Also highly recommend the passion orange soda in the cooler. The staff was so kind to reposition their fan from the kitchen towards our table bc it's HOT in Chicago right now. I was fanning myself when we sat down. They were just observant and thoughtful for that. Definitely bookmarking this place to go back.”

“Todo muy rico, muy amables al atenderte y hablan español 🫶🏻”

“Super friendly, super tasty! Vegan eggplant and veggie gyoza were sooooo gooooood! They were super busy but still had a relaxed and personal vibe 💜”

“Great little restaurant with friendly service and outstanding food. Both the savory and the sweet Sandos are tasty. Curry is outstanding, I recommend the crispy eggplant. Would love to see more veggies as part of the menu and in each Sando and bowl. Only negative I could see is the limited seating but plenty of people came in for take out so that appears to be a good option if you live in the area.”

“Easily one of the best sandwich spots in the area! Food was perfect and one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. Thanks again! 🫨🫨🫨🔥🔥🔥🔥”

“Delicious egg sando. It is PRICEY for a small amount of chips on the side that doesn't include a drink but for a once in a while treat, it's worth it. Closest to the taste of a Japanese Tamago sando you can find. The taste of an egg sandwich isn't something to blow your socks off but it's still tasty”

“Absolutely loved Sando Street! I needed a midday pick me up so I decided to go get some pork and chicken potstickers and a cute little sweet sando! The housemaid soy sauce vinaigrette was delectable. Absolutely adored the Ube Creme Strawberry Sando I ordered. The staff were incredibly sweet and kind. Such a cute little spot. Highly recommend!”

“I already can't wait to go back! This was my first time visiting. I was able to try the bulgogi sandwich, kfc curry bowl and three fruit sandos. Everything was really good. It was cold day and the curry bowl was a perfect warm up. The sandwiches were all delicious, especially the banana cream. The service was wonderful.”

“Got the KFC sandwich and the ube cream one. Enjoyed both of them and I'll be trying the egg one next”
