“Top 3 poke spots in Chicago now. Decent price point for a build your own bowl with plenty of toppings to add on. Lovely workers too!”

“Delicious boba every time. And the bowls are fully customizable and are great even if you don’t like seafood.”

“quality and quantity of protein was impressive compared to other poke spots in the city, especially for the price point.”

“The dishes were absolutely delicious, 😋 and the staff made the experience even better with their warmth and friendliness!”

“Pretty great boba and bowl. Atmosphere is very cute and I like to come here midday. Doesn’t take cash though.”

“Guys….okay, we all know there are several options when it comes to poke bowls in Chicago. I’ve tried many of the well-known ones and most are okay. But THIS ONE….wow. Just wow. Everything from top to bottom is just executed exceptionally well and dare I say “flawlessly”. 1. (and most importantly) The quality and freshness of the fish is unmatched. Do people fish for salmon, tuna, and shrimp off of Navy Pier? Cause it tastes THAT fresh. 2. Each bowl is so well crafted, and you can really tell the chef/owners put so much thought and care into each creation. My first visit to this place I had the Aloha bowl. My visit today I had the Chicago bowl. Both phenomenal. 3. Every ingredient compliments each other so well. There’s so much depth in the textures and layers of flavors. Every bite is a rollercoaster adventure. There’s spicy. There’s sweet. There’s salty. There’s UMAMI. And there is love. From the crunchy onions, to the soft and chewy shiitake, the subtle spice from the sauce– GUYS! What are you waiting for?? Get down to Poke San. Oh you thought I was done!? 4. Think again! The service is TOP NOTCH. I’ve only been here twice but both times, with different employees, I was greeted with a big smile and a desire to help me and make my bowl with craftsmanship and heart. Just watch them when they make it! They really care! (Not common these days!) 5. The atmosphere is very cool. They did a great job decorating it and giving it a warm cozy feel. 6. BANG FOR YOUR BUCK. Expect to pay poke bowl prices but the unexpected is the AMOUNT of food you get. Most places charge you $14 and I’m still hungry afterwards. This one charges the same but I am more than satisfied by the end of it! So much great value for what you pay! My wallet and my belly are grateful. 7. What are you still doing reading this review? GET DOWN TO POKE SAN AND BLESS YOUR TASTEBUDS.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very fresh and full of flavor . I had the Aloha Bowl and it did not disappoint. Portion size was great and seriously very fresh ingredients. I really enjoyed the kimichi.”

“Cute poke place in river north! I tried their built your own poke bowl. They have a couple of starters and vegan option too! They have an option of in house made drinks. I tried the Sunrise drink, kinda like a milk tea and it was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend getting that drink!”

“such a pleasant surprise. i went on a whim because i was craving poke. their ingredients (especially the fish!) tasted so fresh, and the regular bowl with 3 scoops of protein was enormous. my only complaint is seaweed costing extra in the bowl, but the portion size made up for it. i was starving and i could still barely finish the bowl. poke san will definitely be my go-to spot for a quick bite in the area moving forward”
