Their serving of ordered dishes is by first in first out system, which is great; no guess waiting when the dishes ordered will come up or have later orders came out earlier than first

Phở Loan — vietnamese in Uptown worth a stop for the Pho. The flavors are genuine, nothing diluted. "The flavors were on point, the steak was cooked perfectly, sweet and savory perfectly charred" — Guillermo Gonzalez

My family and I have been coming here for years. The menu satisfies any Vietnamese dish craving. Pho Loan is no frills and very authentic. The pho portions are amazing and filling. I really appreciate the depth of flavor and its hearty flavors that take me back to Vietnam. I always recommend Pho Loan to any family, friends, or out of town visitors!

Pho Loan certainly do make authentic Vietnamese food. A good place to eat in Little Vietnam. I enjoyed the fried banana dessert with coconut milk the most. It was crispy, warm, and the flavor of the banana plus coconut milk was perfectly balance in terms of sweetness.

Great value pho. About $16 (17+ after tax) they even have beef bone inside! However I like pho 777 better…

Our 1st time there we got the chef special, which is sort of like a sampler plate. Almost everything was delicious. The pho was out of this world. The meat was delicious. The shrimp tofu thing was delicious period. The sausage was so interesting and different and yummy. The sweet sauce was yummy and out of this world. I can't wait to go back and try other things. My partner had the shrimp with vermicelli, and he loved it. The jasmine tea is great, but I'll bring splenda next time. I don't know the name of the dishes but I just read the English. I Highly recommend this small size restaurant.

My husband and I love coming here every time I am in need of some real home cooking. Portions are always huge compared to many other restaurants in the city and cô Loan is always ready with a friendly smile for us. Everything is made in house and tastes like mom’s. We love a ca kho to and canh chua combination and Pho Loan serves it best: hot, savory, and full feel good flavors. I know you have your pick of Vietnamese spots here in Chicago but don’t sleep on Pho Loan, friends.

I’ve had Pho a Phew times but it was never my cup of soup. That was until I tried Pho Loan. The portion was immense. The flavors balance each other and no particular herb or spice is overpowering. The noodles have a perfect consistency(not too hard nor to soft) but the beef in is what makes it the best Pho I’ve tried. Succulent and flavorful. Practically melts in one’s mouth. They also do a homage sausage. Will try that on the next visit.
