“Wonderful experience at Oliver’s! The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfect for a great night out. One of my favorite parts was being able to see into the kitchen from our table and watch the chefs at work, it added such a special touch to the evening and gave us an appreciation for the care that goes into every dish. The food was exceptional, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. We followed Sam’s recommendations, and she absolutely delivered, every dish was outstanding. Sam was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience feel effortless. Between the incredible food, welcoming ambiance, and the chance to watch the culinary team in action, Oliver’s provided a truly memorable dining experience. We can’t wait to return. 🤍”

“Delicious martinis, burger was phenomenal but not too over the top, devoured the fries, and interior has modest, moody west coast vibes. Definitely want to go back for their golden hour or late night menu.”

“This place is very special. The staff is super kind and the food is delicious. When I was done drinking, they also had non-caffeinated tea. Candles and there were also were also pads and tampons from a very good brand in the bathroom - for free. What in the world?! I cannot exaggerate when I say going here and sitting at the bar was like getting a warm hug. The Tuesday night special was perfect (burger & fries). I was so happy here, even alone just reading my book. For the love of God, please go. Goodbye. Love, Tues 🥰 🪩”

“Really solid place!! Amazing cocktails, really good gnocchi, salad was fantastic. Burger was just ok nothing memorable. However the staff is incredible and the bartender gave us free shots!”

“Love this new neighborhood spot, it’s fancy and I loved having NYE dinner here! Their ambiance is reason enough to go but also the chef worked at French Laundry! Their sourdough with burrata omg! And gnocchi too. The burger looked sensational. Service was on point. You gotta go!”

“Absolutely delicious! My husband and I came here for dinner and had a great time the atmosphere is just lovely but what I truly enjoyed was our drinks and food. Definitely will be back soon. The drinks were made just right while every dish was individually amazing it’s in own way. Highly recommend this restaurant you will not be disappointed!”

“Best restaurant I went to in Chicago. Perfect food, service, beautiful ambience! Highly recommend.”

“We had a wonderful experience at Oliver’s. I celebrated my girlfriend’s birthday there, and the staff made the night feel really special. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, and they even surprised us with a handwritten card and some complimentary snacks. Thank you to the team for making our evening memorable — we’ll definitely come back again!”

“First time here and it won’t be my last. I’ve been around Chicago for years and this is easily one of the best burgers in the city. You have to get the truffle fries. The best part though is their secret Oliver’s Sauce. I’m dying to know what they put in it and I’m rationing my takeaway cup. (Call 911 JK!) The Coconut Key Lime pie for dessert was a life affirming treat and a must order. The graham cracker crust is divine. The ambiance is top notch and the company I was with made it even better. ;-) Huge shoutout to Halley who delivered best in class hospitality and made the entire experience warm and welcoming. I will definitely be back. If you’re reading this, just make the reservation or stop in ASAP.”

“The South Loop is fortunate to have a serious new dining destination in Oliver’s. The space strikes a great balance between modern simplicity and warmth, creating a dining room that feels energetic and inviting. We started with the hamachi crudo, which was the standout dish of the evening. The flavors were bright, clean, and thoughtfully composed. The cheeseburger was another highlight—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and easy to see becoming a neighborhood favorite. The black cod was the only dish that fell a bit short for me. While nicely prepared, it lacked some of the fresh, clean, and creamy qualities I typically look for in a great cod dish. Overall, Oliver’s delivers a polished dining experience with a lively atmosphere and several memorable dishes. It is an exciting addition to the South Loop, and I look forward to returning to explore more of the menu.”

“First timer! Food was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend visiting at least once. Only reason a star is knocked off is because it was incredibly loud in the main dining area. I’m in my early thirties - I can be loud - but once it filled up later in the night it was incredibly hard to hear my friends. Curious if opening the windows would have helped, if that’s an option. Also, our waiter, while very polite, checked on us too many times. Almost ad nauseam. He would ask us for our drink order then come back literally two minutes later. Then another two minutes later. I appreciate being attentive but there was a point where I thought something was wrong because he kept coming over. Massive shout out to Haley (spelling?)! She was not our server but incredibly fun and personable. Hope to come back and have her as our server next time 💜”
