“This is my new go-to lunch order. I got the make your own steak bowl. The preserved lemon sauce, toppings, and couscous were amazing. The steak had great texture and was a good portion, but it was lacking flavor. The falafel is easily the best I’ve had in recent memory!”
“Laimoon is a great addition to the old post office and to the Loop. Tried a few times, this time the burger & dressed fries. First off, one of the best burgers around - gyro spiced beef (a sizeable patty cooked to perfection, not overdone), caramelized onion, whipped feta, pickles, special sauce on a sesame bun. All the flavors meld well together. The dressed fries were great too -served piping hot with feta, pepperoncini, & garlic sauce. Good portion, took some home. Tried a couple of their bowls on previous visits, chicken shawarma & falafel on point. The smoked carrot dip is also a must! Even when there was a long line, it moved quickly. Service fast & friendly. Highly recommend if you’re in the Loop. Even if you’re not, find a way to get there during weekday lunch hours.”
