Laimoon — a Loop middle eastern find that regulars keep close. Order the Burger. They're doing something different, and it works. "The burger was hands-down one of the best I’ve had—juicy, perfectly seasoned, charred, and stacked just right" — Nathan Alcazar

“Loads of options and choices with everything super tasty and unique…zero boring bites.”
Loads of options and choices with everything super tasty and unique…zero boring bites! I loved getting to make my own bowl and mixing two base options. All the toppings have their own unique flavors to make it really interesting. I recommend!!

“This is my new go-to lunch order.”
This is my new go-to lunch order. I got the make your own steak bowl. The preserved lemon sauce, toppings, and couscous were amazing. The steak had great texture and was a good portion, but it was lacking flavor. The falafel is easily the best I’ve had in recent memory!

“Laimoon is a great addition to the old post office and to the Loop.”
Laimoon is a great addition to the old post office and to the Loop. Tried a few times, this time the burger & dressed fries. First off, one of the best burgers around - gyro spiced beef (a sizeable patty cooked to perfection, not overdone), caramelized onion, whipped feta, pickles, special sauce on a sesame bun. All the flavors meld well together. The dressed fries were great too -served piping hot with feta, pepperoncini, & garlic sauce. Good portion, took some home. Tried a couple of their bowls on previous visits, chicken shawarma & falafel on point. The smoked carrot dip is also a must! Even when there was a long line, it moved quickly. Service fast & friendly. Highly recommend if you’re in the Loop. Even if you’re not, find a way to get there during weekday lunch hours.

“Just got food delivered from here and I am in love with this place.”
Just got food delivered from here and I am in love with this place. I need a bottle of the preserved lemon vinaigrette asap. I literally drank it out of the cup. Tomato vinaigrette also amazing! Carrot dip is so unique and good! Labneh is great (just a bit salty). The burger was AMAZING! Can’t wait to try more!!! So much flavor. Hats off to the chef!

“I finally got the chance to visit this great restaurant, and I honestly can’t wait to go back.”
I finally got the chance to visit this great restaurant, and I honestly can’t wait to go back. The burger was hands-down one of the best I’ve had—juicy, perfectly seasoned, charred, and stacked just right. Every bite was perfect. The dressed fries…? FIRE. The vibe of the place is just as great as the food—welcoming and the food came out fast during peak lunch hours. You can tell every detail was thoughtfully crafted. Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and go. This spot deserves all the hype! -Nate
