Beity - West Loop
Beity - West Loop — one of Fulton Market's strongest middle eastern spots. Candlelit and unhurried, ideal for a slow dinner. Strong bar program alongside the food. "That said, their chicken is outstanding—probably the best chicken I’ve had in Chicago" — Redar ismail

“What an experience!!! Being Lebanese my husband & I were excited to try this restaurant. Upon entering we were greeted with Lebanese folklore music with a modern spin — it felt nostalgic — I wish they kept that music throughout the evening! Our server was attentive & helpful. We couldnt decide between “eat the Lebanese way” or ordering a la carte but ultimately decided to order a la carte because we just werent hungry enough for the other option. The “eat the Lebanese way” looked amazing though & had options not available on the a la carte which regrettably you cant order unless you get that option. Regardless, we did order a few items to share & each one didnt disappoint. The hummus was absolutely perfect. It’s challenging to get the right consistency + flavor — they NAILED IT. The fatoush was also memorable with its modern spin — so refreshing & flavorful. The shish barak was perfect. The yogurt was not chalky — it was perfectly balanced! And the chicken ….. just wow. Crispy outside moist inside … eat with the pita & toum …. Pure perfection. Then for dessert the rose ice cream … my absolute favorite & perfect way to conclude! Needless to say it was memorable experience & if we return to Chicago we’d definitely dine in again!”

“I went with vegetarian friends and sadly they didn’t have a lot of options but what we did eat was wonderful. We basically had all the veg options (about 4) there were. The prefix could not accommodate for vegetarian people but they said they are working on one. I would come back to try the meat dishes as I hear they are great. Now the cocktails were amazing! We enjoyed the cocktails more than the food and would come again for them lol”

“I frequent WL a lot, and usually stick to my favorite spots. But we decided to try Beity after walking past it a few times. I'm sad we waited so long to try this place!! I'm also shocked at some of the less favorable reviews because we had a superb experience. They had a birthday card for my husband and the entire staff signed it, so that was a sweet introduction to our experience. Our server was phenomenal, she knew the menu inside out. Everything she recommended was a hit! The food is simply outstanding. Very delicate, light, shareable and elegant portions. Their plating is artful and their drinks are delicious. This place will become a staple for us!”

“Top 🔝 Top!! Jenifer and all the staff made our stay so special… Flavors, presentation and standards according to Michelin Star 🌟 🙏🏻🥘 Thanks”

“Went for my birthday and my friends first time here! Service is always exceptional, we were served by Jessica who was a great sommelier and helped us pick a really lovely palestinian white wine. Favorite items possibly the hummus maitake and spiced garlic rice. Its a good atmosphere for conversation as well :]”

“Great vibe, super attentive service We had the tasting menu it was beyond our expectations. We had amazing experience here”

“Overall one of the best dinners I’ve had in Chicago in recent memory. Avec has been our go to but we have another favorite now. The mataike mushroom hummus was insane flavor profiles wise. The wagyu and veal kabobs phenomenal amongst others there wasn’t anything we ordered that we didn’t thoroughly enjoy. Have already booked our next visit”

“As a Lebanese myself I was surprised to find the best Lebanese restaurant I’ve ever been to would be in Chicago, IL. Every dish had a twist that was so original yet so authentic I felt back home. The service was amazing, my water was never more than 1/2 half empty. I highly recommend doing the chefs journey even though we ordered a la carte, we missed out on some crazy off menu dishes. Also you have to get the arak gin cocktail I forgot the name but it was so good I had to get 2.”

“Absolutely loved the food here. Maybe the best Middle Eastern food I’ve ever had. Service was incredible - Jessica you’re the best. Don’t miss this place. Hummus, chicken, bread all crazy good.”

“Outstanding all around dining experience! Intimate setting. Warm service. Cocktails are incredibly well done- creative, unique, well executed. Every bite was savory and delicious. Chicken & Rice are special bursting with flavor (crispy skin really makes it great). Hummus is top notch and lamb dumplings are a must!”

“I wasn't sure what to expect at Beity since it doesn't seem to get as much buzz on social media as other Fulton Market restaurants, and I was so pleasantly surprised! I had the tasting menu and every single item was delicious. I typically don't order chicken at restaurants but it was probably the most delicious whole chicken I've ever had. The tasting menu is a ton of food so we took some of the chicken home, and it was even good in leftovers. I really wanted to try the lamb dumplings but they don't come in the tasting menu, and our server + the chef went out of their way to bring me a mini version of the dish to try! Absolutely superb service on top of the amazing food. My husband liked his cocktail and the glass of wine I had was amazing, as well. I definitely recommend giving this place a try and going with the tasting menu, as well.”
