“Al Asala is such a hidden gem! We ordered the rotisserie chicken and grilled chicken tikka with rice, and everything was incredibly flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The chicken was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, while the rice was delicious and complemented the meal perfectly. What stood out the most was how affordable everything was for the quality and portion sizes. It’s hard to find food that’s this good at such reasonable prices these days. The service was friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. If you’re looking for delicious halal food in Chicago that won’t break the bank, Al Asala is definitely worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back!”

“I’m a regular customer, visiting about twice a month, and Alasala Restaurant has consistently delivered great food and service. The quality is reliable, portions are generous, and flavors are always on point. Top recommendations: • Rotisserie chicken • Broasted chicken Both are well-seasoned, juicy, and cooked perfectly every time. Another big plus is that the restaurant is open late at night, which makes it a convenient option. With a wide variety of menu choices, it’s easy to find something enjoyable every visit. Highly recommended.”

“This restaurant is by far amazing—and don’t even get me started on the service. We ordered enough food for almost four people, and everything was made fresh. While we were waiting, they offered us a small cup of coffee, and just minutes later brought out complimentary terra lentil soup. Such a thoughtful touch. When our food arrived, it looked incredible—and tasted just as good as it looked. They noticed how much we loved the colored rice and surprised us with two extra plates on the house. That alone says everything about the level of care here. Not only is the food and service top-tier and clean, but the whole place truly feels like home. I will gladly be coming back. The chicken shish tawooq sandwich is a MUST try. The bread is so fluffy, the chicken is slow-roasted to perfection… WOW. Just wow. Don’t think twice—just go. You won’t regret it!!!!!!!!”

“This is my second time visiting Al Asalah Restaurant, and honestly the quality is consistently excellent. The food is delicious and fresh, the service is great, and the atmosphere is comfortable and truly reflects authenticity. A great experience that I would definitely recommend. 🤍🤍🤍”

“Alasala Restaurant offers a truly memorable dining experience with its exquisite cuisine. The ambiance is simply captivating, making it an ideal spot for a special occasion. Each dish is presented beautifully, a feast for both the eyes and the palate. Service is attentive and professional, ensuring every guest feels well looked after. For an outstanding meal and a visually appealing setting, Alasala Restaurant comes highly recommended.”

“Don’t be fooled by the 4.4 rating! I rated 5 stars when they first opened because the food was great for the price. I deleted it and reviewing again. After giving them more chances, their food SHRUNK and dry like a dessert. I will not be coming back because they went all out when they opened then RAISED THEIR PRICES and served terrible quality later on! Just as all Arab places do!”

“Very disappointed. The shawarma was poorly prepared and burnt. I wouldn’t recommend this place. All chicken peaces were burned !”

“Burnt shawarma chicken that is not eatable or even edible. Will not recommend it to anyone”
“You’re the only place that has authentic garlic sauce. If you stop making the sauce, I will never come back to you guys again and it’s very important that you keep making the sauce the way you make it.”
