I’m a regular customer, visiting about twice a month, and Alasala Restaurant has consistently delivered great food and service. The quality is reliable, portions are generous, and flavors are always on point. This restaurant is by far amazing—and don’t even get me started on the service. We ordered enough food for almost four people, and everything was made fresh. While we were waiting, they offered us a small cup of coffee, and just minutes later brought out complimentary terra lentil soup. Such a thoughtful touch. When our food arrived, it looked incredible—and tasted just as good as it looked. They noticed how much we loved the colored rice and surprised us with two extra plates on the house. That alone says everything about the level of care here. Not only is the food and service top-tier and clean, but the whole place truly feels like home. I will gladly be coming back. The chicken shish tawooq sandwich is a MUST try. The bread is so fluffy, the chicken is slow-roasted to perfection… WOW. Just wow. Don’t think twice—just go. You won’t regret it!!!!!!!!

Great food and great service! The chicken shawarma, fries, and lentil soup were great. We also tried some Al Samman coffee and it was delicious!! You have to try it. It’s like a tea-style coffee with cardamom and saffron. Overall, I highly recommend!

The shawarma here was fabulous. We had both chicken and steak shawarma here and even our kids loved it. Large portions. The owner was accommodating and generous and helped us navigate a sesame allergy. Hummus was delicious and staff was so kind to us. I would recommend Reeces cheesecake for dessert. Also, the was a musala which we used for prayer which elevates my respect for this restaurant. We will definitely be back!!!!

“Saw alasaa on a YouTube video.”

Saw alasaa on a YouTube video. Drove about 25 minutes and was 100% worth it. Got the chicken shawarma and it was delicious with the perfect amount of sauce. Fries and pickles were also delicious the seasoning for the fries was so good with a bit of kick. Will be adding this spot to my rotation and excited to try the beef next time

This was my first time here and I loved it! Delicious authentic middle eastern food. One of the best chicken shawarmas in the area. Generous portions, delicious flavors, and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and their service was great.

My experience at Al asala was amazing! A literal food heaven. The atmosphere was warm & welcoming. Every single dish was beautifully made , packed with flavors. The Best rotisserie I had in Chicago!! The Chicken was juicy and flavorful. Everything is made right in front of you and hygiene is maintained. Rice was aromatic.The fish was crispy and soft. The shawarma was beyond tasty!!! Really enjoyed my meal here They also have a juice bar and We tried the strawberry and banana and it was top notch!!! The orange carrot juice was freshly squeezed and so refreshing.The service was quick and they provide good quality and quantity food for a reasonable price. I can’t wait to comeback! @alasala
