“Delicious steak burritos, the dessert you see in the photo is the most delicious thing you can taste if you like sweets 🤤❤️”

“The food was so good recomiendo el menudo y la carne asada 😋”

“Honestly the best Mexican food I've had in a while. The tacos were amazing”

“Been back a few times now and definitely have my favorite dishes. Comfort food, their tortas are on point and the fresh bread really shines which is key BUT today I might have moved the pozole to the front of the line. Perfect for a winter day and those deserts, I warn you, once you take a bite you’ll order that flan, cornbread, and tres leches so you and your friends can share. I lastly got converted, as a Colombian who said he would never try a “cafe de olla” again but they make that coffee with JUST the right touch of cinnamon. Don’t knock it till you try it.”

“Stopped in today for lunch with a friend. We were lucky to find street parking right in front. The inside feels familiar to your standard casual Mexican restaurant in Chicago. I ordered the carne asada torta sandwich and my friend ordered the pozole. Right away we were served our drinks and a small sample soup that was perfect for warming up from outside winter weather. The horchata was as good as it gets. Shortly after our food arrived. The torta was a great size, and the bread was incredibly fluffy and delicious. I loved the torta. My friends pozole looked amazing and he only had good things to say. To finish up our meal I ordered the flan and the homie ordered a dulce de leche. Both desserts were perfection. Definitely recommend this place for some solid Mexican food.”

“Delicious! Perfect blend of flavors in the chicken soup. We really enjoyed the Cecina Campesina and Enchiladas de Mole. Mole sauce had just the right amount of spice. Tres Leches made a decadent dessert, and the owner, Mica, brought us some cups of corn in sweet cinnamon milk as a bonus treat. We will be back.”

“Do yourself a favor and put this on your rotation of favorite taco places. This was the photo of 4 mixed tacos before I absolutely demolished them. Steak- really well seasoned El Pastor- this was the gold star. Micas gives you a pretty good portion of hunks of el pastor. Chorizo- heavily seasoned. Really good but maybe a bit too heavy for me as a taco. Shrimp - a solid choice The service is so nice and attentive. Try their chicken soup it’s delicious for the upcoming Chicago winter.”

“The best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to! The food was delicious and made with love, and the atmosphere was so authentic and friendly. I will be back here again- this place is a real gem.”

“I was looking for something delicious for my lunch and I found this restaurant, my favorite dish is tortas so I decided to order a chicken Milanese torta and a pastor taco, the torta was very good the bread was soft and the meat was very flavorful, soft and not dry, the taco for my taste was good but it lacked a little flavor also I ordered a very refreshing Jamaica water in general the food was very good and with excellent prices, when I have the opportunity to return I will”
“Chicken soup is so flavorful - just perfect. Love all the veggies & toppings, everything is fresh & prepared with great skill & care. After a hard week this is the perfect pick me up to restore your health & well being. Nourishing, comforting, delicious.”
