Was lookingfor a new good Mexican restaurant to celebrate my mom’s birthday. After reading reviews and seeing pictures I said this is the place to go. Boy they did not disappoint. Great service, very attentive and to top it off the food was awesome. The whole family loved it. Would definitely recommend going here.

I really liked the carne asada and tequila tres leches here! The staff were incredibly attentive. I will say though, the chips didn't seem super fresh, but I didn't mind since the first basket was free.

I was blown away by how friendly and accommodating they were here. My husband, myself and my 4 year old daughter came in and they were immediately very accommodating to our family. I have celiac and they walked through the only 2 items that cannot be prepared gluten-free and then noted it's a dedicated fryer and they take care to keep those few items away from the other prep spaces to avoid cross contamination. They assured me I would be safe eating there which was so incredibly kind. Now onto the food! We had fried plantains, panuchos and flautas. All very flavorful and fresh. We also ordered the horchata and a margarita which were both great as well. I look forward to coming back and trying more of the menu!

Really enjoyed this restaurant. The food and service were amazing. The waitress was incredibly attentive and accommodating. One of the best BYOB restaurants in Chicago.

We've ordered from XOchimilco a few times but finally went to the restaurant for dinner. The vibe is very much that of a chill Mexican restaurant, but the dishes and plate presentation are much nicer. The friendliness of the staff and quality of service is excellent. They checked in on us frequently, but not so much that it was bothersome. The food came in super fast as well. I would highly recommend trying the Panela appetizer (grilled cheese), the taquitos. We also enjoyed the lamb shank entree — the lamb was super tender and the bean super very flavorful. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant!

We just love XO! Not sure which part is the best - the food, the friendly service or the neighborhood atmosphere! The steak is our favorite and everything we've had has been outstanding and has a unique touch. Everything about this place is top notch!

“Ayyydios Que Rico.”
Ayyydios Que Rico! Very delicious meal and exceptional service. Food came out together and hot. Although noise level was very loud it didn’t bother me. I had the Camarones a la Diablo and it was perfect level of spicy good portion. This is a must try if you want something other than just tacos on the menu. Two thumbs up and great job to this establishment.

Delicious and great service! The quality of their dishes is excellent and the sauces are the absolute best! The fact that it is BYOB and they offer homemade marg mix was a great surprise. We will be back soon!

Not sure how we are just getting here. Came out on a Wednesday night. Cute little patio. Staff could not be more welcoming. Super chill. Great flavor on tortilla soup. Salsa was tasty. The shrimp in the fajitas were some of the best prepared perfectly flavored and cooked shrimp we have had in any dish. My chicken mole was very tasty, nice spice, and the plantains were out of this world. Discount if you pay in cash. Great neighborhood spot.
