I tried the beef tacos, and they were really delicious! The beans and rice also tasted amazing. The restaurant has a warm, cozy, and stylish interior, and they offer outdoor seating as well. The customer service was great, and I would definitely order the beef tacos again next time.

Amazing tacos and Happy Hour all days from 3-5 and $3 tacos all day Sunday. The happy hour nachos and margaritas are $5 each and amazing. Cheese quesadilla was one of the best I’ve had. Very fast and friendly service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I don't like places that use the QR code as a menu. The lady that took my order named Kadjah/KK. She saw I was about to leave. The lady told me to pick my table. She had it from there. The food was good not crowded for a taco Tuesday. I appreciate that the host went out of her way. To accommodate me because I was going elsewhere. Customer service was on point.

seasoned, juicy, full of flavor. i tried the chicken chimichanga, birria taco in lettuce and the asada taco. All was very good my fav was the chicken. The beans in rice are so good. You need no sauce nor additional condiments. Happy hour at 3 for $5 margaritas. Great service from the moment i walked in. Quickly served.

Tallboy Taco is an amazing place for tacos. They make their own chips, too. Very intentional with dietary needs. I am gluten-free and their on line menu is very clear about which tacos are gluten-free and vegan. The on person menu isn't quite so clear. But you can always ask or go online to check.

For the last couple years, Tallboy Taco has continued to be my wife's and my favorite street taco place! We've enjoyed every variety of taco we've tried here. Standout tacos include crispy fish, carne asada, masa-crusted avocado, masa shrimp, pork al pastor, and the birria short rib. The Tallboy Combo with chips and homemade guacamole round out the meal. Please note that meals are prepared to order and worth the wait! 😋 When we visit Northwestern Memorial for a doctor's visit, we look forward to dining at Tallboy Taco! Amazing freshly made chips and delicious tacos - especially the crunchy fried shrimp! And it’s all gluten free - but if you’re not GF you’d never know. Highly recommend this place! They also serve spiked hibiscus lemonade, etc if ya want 😎

“The tacos and nachos are good.”

The tacos and nachos are good! Surprisingly even the rice and beans are good. There’s a lot of flavor and kick to the tacos, rice and beans, and the nachos. The nacho chips have a great crunch to them and don’t get soggy. The guac and cheese is good. The margarita is good too. I asked for a spicy seasoning on the rim. The decor and atmosphere is really a good vibe. It’s got a very earthy look to it. I am enjoying the music too. It’s a good spot for a quick bite and drink.

Easy lunch if you’re coming from Northwestern! Everything was tasty and they have REALLY great chips. Loved that you can get your taco in a lettuce cup if you want a lighter meal (I know, oxymoron because I just talked about the chips).

“Best tacos in the city!”

Best tacos in the city!! A must go in Chicago! the carne asada tacos were amazing, the meat was so tender and tasty and they're pretty loaded! I also loved the corn and cheese mix for the tacos! Pretty good deal in downtown for healthy, tasty food and good quality ingredients. Also they have made glass separations from each table for more safety, the atmosphere feels fresh and cozy, with plants all around. Coffee is also great. Definitely recommended👌
