Quesadilla La Reina del Sur
Quesadilla La Reina del Sur — dependable mexican in Bucktown. Rooted in technique and tradition throughout. Good for vegetarians. Ray Did1: "The chips were ok but that pico de gallo was bomb, a little on the spicy side though(I love spicy)" [$]

“Nice spot with great food and drinks. Lots of menu options and good service. The mango habanero margarita was especially delicious.”

“Nice vegan/vegetarian place. Authentic tasting Mexican food made of plant base meats. Nice size portions, nice service, clean place. Wide variety of fresh juices, tons of delicious dishes. Prices are not to high and the dishes we had were very tasteful. If I could I would have ordered a lot more because it all sounded delicious. I highly recommend it.”

“Amazing Mexican vegan food. It has a great authentic taste while simultaneously being unique. I haven’t gone to another vegan/ vegetarian place with such an original take on traditional dishes. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Drinks were fantastic too!”

“Excellent! I had gotten food delivered from here once and it was awesome, but finally got to dine in and it was awesome again and the staff was great too! I had lots of questions because it was hard to decide and they were friendly and I ended up getting a jamaica agua fresca, the red mole, and also got an asada burrito to-go. The mole was so delicious (as was everything else) also the green salsa that comes with the chips was MARVELOUS. Even though I live up in rogers park I think I'll have to come back here regularly!”

“Really nice vegetarian Mexican restaurant but they also have two different types of vegan cheeses. Really big selection of soy based proteins to choose from and also has nopales and huitlacoche which are always delicious. Good size portions too. One of my favorite stops in the Logan Square area”

“First timer here, and now an aspiring regular. To quote my partner “this was the best burrito I’ve ever had in my life!” We got the Garibaldi (pictured) , Pastor De Soya (our favorite), and a Tamale. All of which where amazing. It's hard to find a good vegan burrito that's the size if your head. Thank you for an amazing dinner :)”

“Quesadilla Reina del Sur is a wholesome establishment. There are several vegan options to choose from, and the vegan potato cheese is recommended. The ingredients appeared fresh and of good quality; they can overcook some dishes on occasion, but the food is satisfactory overall. A clean and comfortable establishment and the staff are very friendly and professional.”

“It would’ve been a 5 start but they are not honest about the pricing. Juice menu clearly said 7.74 for a juice, but I was charged 9.50, after I brought it up they said ‘we will give you the menu price’ and changed it to 8.50 lol”

“My daughter had been wanting to visit this place just to be disappointed. We waited 41 minutes for an enchilada dinner and a quesadilla. We had to ask for it to be packed to go to be disappointed on the enchilada portion. My daughter is very petit and does not each much and was left hungry. The quesadilla was a good portion but it tasted burnt. I did not felt like this restaurant caters to the Latino community.”
“Un sabor muy bueno de su comida. Volveré a visitar este lugar.”
“I got the SUPER BURRITO XOCHIMILCO and it was absolutely delicious and huge! Will definitely get again?”
