Pochos — one of Pilsen's strongest mexican spots. Hospitality and expertise in equal measure, and fast service. "The chicken chilaquiles were spicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection (sauce ratio was perfect not too much)" — Mariah P [$$]

Best brunch in Chicago! Get the chilaquiles all the way! Also—- who has even heard of $35 mimosa bottle! Run!!!! It’s amazing ! The place always feels like home, we met Miguel in our early 20s and I love how so many friends have contributed to the artwork in the restaurant ❤️ it’s such a wonderful feeling. Made my whole weekend

We had the braised beef empanadas and the chicken empanadas. Both were delicious! We also shared the Chilaquiles all the way. We had the Chef cook the steak to their liking and it was perfect. The entire dish was delish, tortilla chips were not soggy, the scrambled eggs were soft. We ended with the Churro French Toast. I can imagine their normal French toast might be a little dry, but the almost tres leches mixture around it was perfect. Lots of fruit on top too! Cafe de Olla and the Margarita were both great too. Highly recommend! Very reasonable prices. No wait around 1pm on Saturday. Support this place!!

Let me start off by saying the food is A1, worth the money. It’s near the 18th pink line stop too so it’s very easy to navigate to. The service was fine, i just wish they came by more often (never got more coffee, which was amazing). It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the pilsen area!

Poncho’s absolutely delivered. I ordered the chicken chilaquiles and they were perfect, rich, well- balanced, and clearly made with care. Comforting without being heavy, and packed with flavor. My daughter had the burger, and it was genuinely delicious, juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. Not an afterthought on the menu at all. The drinks deserve a special mention: tasty, well-crafted, and definitely on the strong side (in the best way). And the service? Excellent, attentive, friendly, and welcoming without hovering. Great food, great drinks, great energy. We’ll absolutely be back.

I had the Rajas Omelette with the grilled chicken and it was amazing!! A friend and I stopped by Pochos and had a great time. She tried the Chorizos & we split a classic French Toast as well. Food was all around amazing and out server was so nice!

Stopped by Pochos for brunch with a friend and it was amazing! We shared the seasonal French toast and their house-made whipped cream was to die for! The chicken chilaquiles were spicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection (sauce ratio was perfect not too much)! The $5 mimosa Monday special was the cherry on top - I highly recommend the hibiscus mimosa, however, they also offer other mixers to choose from. I don’t remember our server’s name but we appreciated her attentiveness and welcoming demeanor. I will definitely be back soon!

Stopped by Pochos in Pilsen for a late brunch and had an amazing experience! The chilaquiles verdes with carne and eggs were absolutely excellent, and the chicken club was delicious. Drinks were on point, perfectly complementing the meal. The service was fantastic, friendly and attentive. This is a great spot for brunch and drinks in Pilsen.

Went out for a farewell breakfast for my brother before his honeymoon and the food did not disappoint! Ordered the enchiladas all the way with the steak and was properly pleased with the portions and quality of everything! Paired with some agua de Jamaica.....well done! Definitely advise a visit to pochos

I do love Pochos if only for their heavenly French Toast. I’ve occasionally strayed from their fried chicken and French toast and it’s been good. But def one of my favorite brunch plates in the area
