“This was my favorite Pepe’s.”

This was my favorite Pepe’s! I would come in weekly for the $2 taco special on Tuesday and Thursdays. They also have good smoothies! The workers today (07/31) told me that they are closing permanently on August 1st. I’m sad to see this location go and hopefully I can find another Pepe’s that matches the quality.

This is the best Pepe's on the south side of Chicago, they cook authentic Mexican food and they don't skimp on your portions. I haven't been there in over 25 years and I happen to be in the area so I stopped for a burrito. Like I said it was gigantic and delicious. All the other Pepe's serve taco size burritos. This was a true burrito!!! I can't wait to be in the neighborhood again because I'm definitely going back!
