Great experience, the food was deliscious. Steak was juicy, the hot sauces had great flavor, and the Horchata was amazing not powdery like some other places! Bathrooms were cool as heck too and very clean!

My two other friends and I came to visit Chicago this weekend and this place is SO good, 10/10!! We had steak tacos and they were so flavorful and authentic :) The service was also very welcoming. Will come again!

Stopped here last night on after reading Google reviews. Don’t sleep on La Calle. Great food and decent enough vibe. Prices are fair too. I dined in but lots of people doing takeout.

Everything tastes authentic and delicious. the staff are extremely friendly and the facility is clean with a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend the horchata. Enjoy a tasty meal at La Calle ~

Been here twice in the past month, food is excellent, service is great and the restaurant is clean. We had the steak and chicken tacos and they are *chefs kiss* so good. Also the pepino y limón agua is refreshing and not overly sweet. Also the atmosphere and design of everything is very pleasing. Would recommend as we plan on coming back.

We were very excited to try new taco restaurant in South Loop, especially because there are very limited options for good Mexican food in the area. The food overall was good, but not great. We were slightly disappointed in what we received. I want to share both the positive and the things that need work. Positives: The steak, mixed steak and pork taco, rice and agua fresca all have really good flavor. Restaurant also provides a generous amount of salsa! The salsas were my favorite part - great flavor and a little bit of a spicy kick. Negatives: The chips and guacamole is $9 and the side of guacamole is the same size as Chipotle which is $5. We understand inflation is high, but we def were not expecting small side cup. The choice of taco proteins is limited. The chicken taco needed more flavor, it tasted a bit bland. They double up on the tortillas for tacos but somehow our tacos still fell apart, it might be possible that they need a little oil or something to prevent tortilla from getting moist so fast. Lastly, the side cup of rice is inexpensive as it's $2.50 but again it's in a side cup, which we have never seen before and were expecting just slightly larger portion (even if it means increasing the price). Overall, we do appreciate them opening up the taco place, but feel as though a few things need to be improved before we make another visit.

I'm from out of town. Wanted to grab a quick bite after flying in. This place had good reviews. Had the burrito with "campechano" meat. Was def not disappointed. It was fire! Next time I'll order again but with extra meat since it's so good!

Was super delicious! The service was really quick and the food was fresh and flavorful. I even went back and ordered another taco after I finished my meal. I can’t wait for the patio to open!
