After living in the Midway area for over 20 years, I can’t believe it took me this long to discover Esquina del Sazón. From the moment I walked in, the service stood out. Both women I interacted with were genuinely warm, attentive, and welcoming. The food was exceptional. The steak torta was outstanding and packed with flavor. The real star was the beef soup. It was hands down the best I’ve ever had, with huge tender chunks of beef in a rich, deeply seasoned broth filled with potatoes and carrots. Every bite was delicious and satisfying. I finished eating and immediately had to write this review. It was that good. On a cold Chicago January night, that soup was absolute perfection.

All I can say is it doesn’t get any better than this!! The steak a la tampiquena was 100% perfect! Absolute perfection! I can only imagine how excellent it would have been if I dined in.

It was delicious I totally recommend First time here and the morning waitress was very friendly and great customer service! I got horchata con fresas and chilaquiles verdes with a pechuga de pollo ! Not spicy which was great for me lol And the other plate was huarache de carne asada so delicious toooo !!!! i will be coming back again 🙂🥲😀‼️

Love coming for brunch here! The food is so good and omg their homemade drinks are super delicious too. Still haven’t tried their whole menu but I ordered some chilaquiles and it was a 10/10! Service was great too! 🤗

Not only does this place pack flavor, the location is wonderful. Parking available and the music was welcoming, having me dancing at my table. The food aromas are just fantastic and so are the Portions! Pricing is great on the wallet and will have you coming back for more. Try the take out, the food arrives hot and as good as eating at the restaurant.

We stopped by for a quick lunch based off a recommendation- very glad we did!! We were so hungry we didn’t get pics of the actual food but everything was DELICIOUS. The horchata and agua de Jamaica are great and both not too sweet. Tacos were well served, I tried de asada, pastor, cecina, y lengua. My fav was probably the cecina or lengua, so tender! Tacos al pastor were unique, probably the best I’ve tried so far. Overall food 10/10 and Service is quick and attentive 10/10. Toda la comida estuvo deliciosa y el servicio esta muy bueno también.

The food is fantastic and I’ll already eaten there twice. The horchata with strawberries is fantastic. Is like milkshake but made out of water. I suggest the tortas and tacos are delicious.

As simple as it sounds, everything tasted like homemade with love. Scrumptious food, freshly made dishes, lovely outdoors, nice servers, such a great surprise to find this place. We ordered scrambled eggs Mexican style, chicken huarache, barbacoa and puerco enchilado tacos for lunch. Tres leches cake and carrot cake for dessert. Even the beans on the side were delicious; not coming from a can, not abusing lard, which is almost impossible to get elsewhere. Highly recommended!
