“First, the good: I ordered the taco dinner and it was *delicious*”
Ok there than this place looks and feels like a bootleg chipotle, j was surprised to see $2 taco Tuesdays specials and actually those tacos were super good, decent size ,double tortillas the carnitas were just perfect amount of fat and pork , kudos to the pastor as well, really outstanding stuff here, I don't like the kiosk ordering but whatever, guess what, it did used to be a chipotle!!
My favorite place to go to for lunch. The food is amazing.
Super good torta de alpastor!. We came in as a family of 6 and all enjoyed our meals and the red salsa bien bueno 🥰.
Food was fantastic and the customer service is exemplary . Definitely better than the other taco places on Lincoln ave.
Ordered 3 tacos, a double side of beans, and flan to go.
Rice portion was abysmal and rice was soggy. Burrito was sad. Mostly beans. Pork was dry, chewy, and fatty.
Although the staff is friendly and the restaurant is kept clean, the food is adequate.I got bowl with chicken which was $12.

“Great little place to come grab something quick to eat.”
Great little place to come grab something quick to eat. Plenty of seating inside, albeit it's pretty bare bones inside. There's some nice patio seating when the weather is good. Had a great steak burrito with mild sauce for $11 - basic but very tasty and a good portion side. I'd happily come back. Edit to add: all I mean by basic is that it's no frills or anything that would put a picky eater off -- just quality, simple ingredients :)

Must try in LP! Enjoyed a fantastic burrito today at Cilantro. The food was great, very fresh tasting and high quality ingredients. I also had a churro which tasted just like the one I had in Madrid! Service was great and all the workers were friendly and had a smile on their face. The store is very well kept and they promptly clean the tables after people eat. 10/10 can’t wait to return.

I have heard of the restaurant and was finally able to go there for lunch I do got to say the tacos were very very good I really like the way the tortillas were prepped not all soft and falling apart but a slight crisp made it really really good The restaurant was very clean very comfortable and the cashiers were very nice I will definitely stop in there again

“Really tasty, fast Mexican food.”
Really tasty, fast Mexican food! Very clean inside, and very friendly & helpful staff. Amazing selection of meats, even Impossible Burger for vegetarians. Lots of drink options, including many flavors of Jarritos. I would definitely choose Cilantro over nearby Velvet Taco, Allende, or Chipotle, as their menu has better options and their food is much higher quality.

“I had a great visit on opening weekend.”
I had a great visit on opening weekend! The staff were super friendly and helpful as I needed assistance navigating the menu to find something that was vegetarian friendly. The burrito with impossible meat was so good!! The green sauce really took it up a level in terms of heat and flavor.

“I've been meaning to try Cilantro for a while so I'm glad I got to stop by this local, woman-owned business.”
I've been meaning to try Cilantro for a while so I'm glad I got to stop by this local, woman-owned business. First, the good: I ordered the taco dinner and it was *delicious*. Everything was fresh, seasoned just right, and plentiful. I loved my meal! Now the not great: the price was pretty outrageous. I paid over $20 for my meal plus a can of coke. I wouldn't think twice about paying that much for table service and unlimited soft drinks but it's really hard to justify that price when I can get a similar meal in the neighborhood, including soft drink refills, for about $13. I'll definitely return once in a while because it's important to me to support local but most of the time, I'm going to save money and go to less expensive places.

“The food was "ok" for the price.”
The food was "ok" for the price. Better off going to Chipotle for the same price with what may seem healthier ingredients. I have gotten the chicken burrito with all of the options and although presentation was very nice, the chicken was bland and just didn't mix well with the smashed beans. My SO got a taco bowl and it was more fried bread than salad with tons of fried rice and the presentation was lame with tin foil wrap rather than a take out box... We decided we're not coming back as we left feeling disappointed... Maybe as drunk food.
