“We just rolled out of Velvet Taco in Lincoln Park! Absolutely delicious tacos with big, bold flavors! The vibe is fun, the music is great, and the lady who took our order was super friendly and helpful — the cherry on top of the taco experience! We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. 🌮✨”

“This place needs to win an award for their brisket tacos! Awesome. The sauces rock for their unique spice / smoke profile.”

“I could not believe the flavor of my tacos They were delicious. They were filling. The queso and chips best ever. I recommend.”

“As a taco lover, this place had been on my list for quite some time, and I was excited to finally give it a try. With a menu packed with creative and bold flavor combinations, I knew this would be a meal to remember. The first taco of the night was the Picnic Chicken taco, which offered a completely different yet equally satisfying experience. The rotisserie chicken was incredibly tender and packed with savory depth. The avocado crema added a silky richness, complementing the chicken perfectly. However, the warm honey-dijon potato salad. Its subtle sweetness and tangy kick made it feel like a complete, satisfying meal all on its own. Crispy chicken skin brought an irresistible crunch, while fresh cilantro added a bright note. All of these flavors came together in a soft flour tortilla, creating a perfectly balanced and unforgettable bite. Next came the Buffalo Chicken taco, and it was an absolute winner. It stole the show with its bold flavors and perfect texture balance. The crispy tenders were coated in a tangy, house-made buffalo sauce that provided just the right amount of heat. The sauce clung to the chicken, ensuring every bite was bursting with spicy flavor. Thinly sliced carrots brought a refreshing crunch, while the blue cheese crumbles added a sharp, creamy contrast to the heat. The ranch crema helped mellow out the spice with its cool, smooth texture. Wrapped in a warm flour tortilla, every bite was an explosion of flavor, spicy, creamy, and tangy, all working together in perfect harmony. The buffalo sauce paired with the cool ranch crema and bold blue cheese made this taco an undeniable favorite. The added crunch from the carrots and the crispy tenders elevated the experience to perfection. This taco wasn’t just good—it was crave-worthy, the kind of meal that stays with you long after the last bite.”

“Velvet Taco in Lincoln Park is a must-visit for anyone who loves bold flavors and creative taco combinations. The menu is packed with unique options that go beyond the usual, from the Spicy Tikka Chicken to the Slow-Roasted Angus Brisket—each bite is full of rich, well-balanced flavors. The atmosphere is lively, with a cool, modern design that makes it a great spot for a casual meal or late-night snack. The staff is friendly and efficient, ensuring you get your food quickly without feeling rushed. Their queso and elote are also worth mentioning—both are packed with flavor and make perfect sides to go with the tacos. And if you have room, their red velvet cake is a great way to end the meal. Overall, Velvet Taco delivers on taste, creativity, and service. Whether you’re a taco enthusiast or just looking for a great spot to grab a bite in Lincoln Park, this place won’t disappoint!”

“The rotisserie chicken tacos are very delicious and I will be coming back soon when I get more money”

“One of the best places for vegetarians. I like their Nashville tacos🌮 you can customise as well”

“It is a place where you get something to eat which is vegetarian. It's an emergency food to keep your body and soul together. It doesn't fill you up unless you order many tacos, it tastes ok.. service?? What service. You order and then you pick it up from the counter. You better know where to look for the menu and what the names mean. It's close to the DePaul campus so it's good for the students! Of course my young adult lives this place. Paying $ 6 for a taco rattles the frugal in me. My only positive about this place is that I can get something vegetarian.”

“I absolutely love going to Velvet Tacos! The paneer tacos are fantastic and always hit the spot. As vegetarians, my wife and I would appreciate a wider variety of vegetarian taco options, but we still enjoy what they have. I really miss the falafel tacos—they were excellent. We always indulge in their guac and chips, along with their delicious cheese quesadilla. Velvet Tacos is a favorite for a reason!”
