“Finally, I came back to Carmela's Taqueria after 35 years, and it is still where I find the best tacos and quesadillas of Chicago! Simple yet delicious food served here at affordable prices 😋. This hole in the wall is one of the best real mexican places in Chicago.Not to be missed and will return forever.”

Chips with salsa is a plus here because the sauce is very spicy if you like it like that. And to end it with a drink Chata was well prepared and tasted good as well.”

“Stumbled upon this place after rock climbing! I was delighted with their service. The atmosphere is giving grab some food after work before catching the bus home type vibe (the restaurant is right next to the bus stop). The style is very “to go”front so we know it’s good lol. The guy that took my order may not speak full English, but he’s very nice and politely helped me with their menu! I got 2 chorizo tacos and horchata for $14! When I finished my tacos I was literally contemplating to get another tacos or burritos to go.”
