I love this spot. The staff is always super nice, and their horchata latte is amazing.
I just came from a short walk to Cafe Tola. I’m fairly new to Avondale and wanted to support the local businesses there.
The coffee here is very good, I got the dulche de leche latte and I would highly reccomend.
Quick service, I went at 8am there was no line, so I didn't have to wait.
Some noted
Wanted to try the empanadas but at $6 a pop for something the size of half a McDonald's hamburger, I passed.
i usually have good interactions when i’m here as i work locally, but my last visit wasn’t great.
I came here today 7/15/24 and my empanadas weren’t fully cooked.

It’s a cute little spot in the busy side of Logan that deserves all the love! So many empanada flavors it was hard to choose but I decided to settle my sweet and savory cravings and got a salsa verde chicken empanada and a banana Nutella empanada. The chicken was so juicy and flavorful it was so good. The banana Nutella really helped get that sweet craving. So good! Only thing is I’m sad the lavender lemonade was mostly ice and didn’t really have a lot of flavor, I wish it had both more lemon and more lavender! Overall great food for solid prices. Yum! 😋

Eating some tacos by the light of neon is a vibe. I got the skirt steak and al pastor. It hit the spot. The portions were generous and delicious. Cool little spot if there’s open seating. I’m hoping to cross paths with the other locations soon.

The only thing I regret is not coming here sooner. Empanadas are so flavorful and so many varieties. Staff was kind and patient to help us pick the right empanadas. Definitely coming back

On a brutally hot 95 degree day, Cafe Tola managed to save me with delicious food. Food: I ended up stopping here after a long walk in the heat with some friends. I got the chicken salsa verde burrito with was exceptional and washed it down with a water and glass bottle Coke. Couldn't ask for anything more. Service: I only dealt with the cashier, but she was super nice and patient with me. Aesthetic: Wasn't a fan of the drink stock being in the middle of the floor, but it is a small place so it is understandable. I did like the vibe and it was a nice "quick-eats" spot.

“My personal favorite for empanadas in the city.”
My personal favorite for empanadas in the city! Great spot for breakfast. They have several different amazing breakfast tortas, tacos and burritos. Tasty coffee and drinks! But the empanadas are the true stand out! Especially their birria one!! So damn good! This particular location is quite small! Most everyone takes out. However if you’d like there are two small tables inside and one outside. Great atmosphere all around!

Got a empanada de poblano rajas y queso. Man that was a solid 10 and the salsa on the side was delish. Such a perfect little place to get great food and coffee! Will definitely be coming back, also, Claudia was super friendly and welcoming!

Just had their Red Pork empanada and their Ham+Egg empanada. Empanadas are my favorite food, so I'm so picky, but they didn't disappoint. So stuffed and juicy. I love, and definitely will be back for me. It's also a cute place to be with the artwork and outdoor seating.

First time here and it was nice little place to enjoy some empanadas. We came in Saturday around 7pm. We ordered empanadas de birria and guava con queso. The guava was delicious the birria was ok because the cheese was nice and hot but the birria was super cold. Will definitely be back to try more.

Nice spot with tons of empanadas and cold brews. Everything tastes fresh and savory. Some flavors are good, and others are nothing really remarkable inside an empanada. The cashier was friendly and explained some questions I had about the menu. I bought 2 empanadas + cold brew = almost $20
