Can I give this place 10 stars? Visiting Chicago and this place is so good I had to eat here twice. Super fast service and excellent quality. The chips are perfection. The Carnitas is a standout with the avocado, bacon and spinach on top. The potato taco is a delish and filling veg option. Ordered to-go both times ( excellent branding ) but will have to make a point to dine-in next time around! Such a cute looking spot. PS I love to support women-owned!

Staff was super pleasant and the sweet and spicy tacos were amazing! The chicken is deliciously seasoned, and the touch if mint and cucumber plays really well with the jalapeño. I had two and they were ready promptly and bigger/more filling than I expected!

Fish and steak were the best tacos. City prices but they made these fresh and they make the wait worthwhile. Attentive and kind service, tap water and bathrooms too. Great place for a food tour, pit stop, a quick snack.

It was soo good! Come here for a food tour, so we each got one pork carnitas taco. The tortilla was sturdy and soft, and the different ingredients made it so flavorful! The more intense flavor of the tamarind pork contrasted well with the freshness of the cheese, spinach, and avocado. The crunch and flavor of the bacon was a great addition as well. It could be improved if the pork was not overcooked though, since it was a bit tough. We ate outside on the benches and the environment was nice.

Would personally recommend the shrimp 🍤 taco 🌮 heads up non of the salsas are spicy 🤭 but still flavorful the habanero/carrot salsa is thee one for me. Super fresh & experimental recipes like the seafood flautas or Mediterranean inspired chicken taco were something I never tried before. The chocolate abuelita pop tart is such a treat perfectly paired with vanilla ice cream 🍨 as it melts with the warm filling🍫 Extra patio picnic seating is a vibe in the warmer months, if you bring a pet or just want to people watch while you have your meal outside. Free refill on the chips is very generous 🌽

As someone who has spent most of their life in Texas, these tacos hit the spot and were packed with so much flavor. The brisket taco was so tender and had some kick to it along with the delicious flavors from their chicken al pastor topped with pineapples of course. I can already tell this place is going to be a regular spot added into my weekly favorites.

Super cute space! Loved the atmosphere, music, and food. Two tacos were plenty for me. They are decent sized! I got the potato poblano and the sweet and spicy chicken. The chicken one was amazing!! I would honestly eat that every day. Margaritas were good too. Like that they make the juices in house. Also the chips were incredible! Very crunchy and flavorful

I really enjoyed having lunch here! The tacos were delicious, the horchata was so fresh and perfect. The service was quick and the place looks neat. My only suggestion is to have at least two vegetarian taco options at any given time; that’d really make me go back soon and often.

Recommended by chef Beverley Kim. The food is ADDICTIVE and this place is amazing for a quick bite or chit chat with a buddy. The staff was super kind to me and they go above and beyond for your experience while also giving you as much privacy as possible. The Shrimp taco is my favorite here and a best seller according to staff! The only setback about this place is that is is small but they do also have outdoor seating and you can sit wherever you please. Self serve water means they GET IT. No need to wait for someone to fill it up for you. I will definitely try it again!
