“The A-team was clearly in the kitchen on March 29, 2026. My family and I had an outstanding dinner at Dengeos, enjoying a spread that included ribs, a cheeseburger, fish tacos, spaghetti, a gyro, baklava, and carrot cake. The standout? The seasonal fish tacos. Easily the best thing on the menu — perfectly balanced, incredibly fresh, and absolutely unforgettable. When they're back on the menu, don’t hesitate. We've been going to Dengeos for several years but the quality was top tier on this day. Update: I continue to make my 6-person order at Dengeos without issue. I must have overlooked the Greek salad on the menu — it's very nice and I will continue to return for it.”

“I started coming here way back in the late ’70s, when this place was just a tiny gyro joint. I was working in Evanston, and McCormick Blvd was my daily route home—lucky me. The food has always been good, and honestly, that hasn’t changed at all. Everything I’ve tried is solid. My only little wish? More soups in the winter! Give me lentils, cheddar broccoli, homemade chicken soup—bring them all on. A warm bowl of soup with that delicious Greek bread is pure comfort on a freezing day. Hope the folks here read this… hint, hint!”

“I don't know if many owner's of restaurants personally drive you and your catered meal to your destination and the other owner jumps your car while you'reen route, but these folks made it seem easy. I know it seems like I'm making this up, but Nick and Louie came through like guardian angels. Customer service 1,000/10 and Food 1,000/10. They have my business FOREVER! Enough said...”
