“Delicious food and a great set up to eat outside. Not much seating inside the cafe but enough seating is available outside. The restaurant next door which is also Medici had a long wait so we chose to get the food from the cafe which was very quick. The food takes a bit to come out but was all worth it. We had the veggie California wrap, sandwich, veggie burger and the fettuccine Alfredo pasta along with some drinks like lemonade and mocha shake. All was well done and service is great.”

“Iconic neighborhood joint. Food and atmosphere are unique and outstanding. Great brunch and lunch menus. Good for small or large groups. Been coming here for years. Bring a Sharpie and leave your mark on the walls, booths or tables when you’re done eating. Don’t forget to check out 57th Street Books a few doors down, too. Perfect 1-2 punch for a morning or afternoon in Hyde Park. Also pairs very well with visits to the Museum of Science and Industry.”

“Such a wonderful neighborhood staple!!! My kids love it, my family loves it, and I love it! Solid menu that has lots of options for everybody, drinks, brunch on the weekends, patio seating upstairs when the weather is nice. And of course there’s the bakery next-door which deserves its own review and focus! All in all, I’d say that if you come to Hyde Park and you miss Medici, you’ve missed a lot.”
