Cabra
Cabra — clean, consistent peruvian in West Loop. Nothing about this place is trying to impress you, and that's the point. Strong bar program alongside the food. "The empanadas were my absolute favorite, very flaky" — Leonardo Tanoue [$$$, patio]

“Took all the ladies in my family out for a few drinks, and a rooftop dinner. Cabra has been on my hit list for a min and we finally had a chance to come check it out. Wow!! We will definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu. We had the Steak Saltado, Shrimp Ceviche, Pork Shank with crisp skin, Roasted chicken and for Dessert we had the doughnuts and the Strawberry cream dessert and everything was super good. Alex our server was a whole vide and we will be asking for him next time we come.”

“My favorite spot in Fulton Market. - Food, drinks, view and vibe, excellent!”

“Very nice restaurant nice people very clean very professional delicious”

“This is our second time eating here and first time for brunch. We made reservations for Father’s Day to have a brunch with the whole family. I’ll start with kid friendly. There were children of all ages with big and small families. Cabra accommodated everyone. Drinks, we decided to have the non-alcoholic passion fruit drink which was good. See the picture. Food, ceviche good, empanadas good, and the surprise favorite was the quinoa French toast. I saved it for dessert. A separate gluten free menu is great for the gluten free eaters.”

“Incredibly flavorful food, bright cocktails, and beautiful, airy atmosphere! 10/10 recommend”

“Such a fun restaurant to go to with your friends! The view is nice and the restaurant on its own is something special. If you go I absolutely recommend getting the goat empanadas, salchipapas, tuna tataki, and the jalea mixta. For drinks the best one for me was idle hands”

“The location is great and the service and atmosphere is outstanding..the drinks were great and all of the food in the 7 course meal was yum except for the short ribs.. it was way salty and the interesting part is it seems like how the chef likes it .... They did complement it with a drink..”

“Good service, good food. We had guacamole, goat empinadas, and the crispy fried pork shank - all were excellent!”

“The empanadas were my absolute favorite, very flaky, well seasoned goat filling and delicious sauce to go with it. The steak saltado and the salchipapaa were also really good, balanced with interesting flavors. The Shrimp Tacu Tacu was not our favorite but it was something new and interesting to try. We came for bunch but plan to come back for dinner!”

“Cabra is one of my favorite spots to bring friends when they come to visit. I highly recommend the happy hour menu. The pisco sour is phenomenal and a steal at $11 in the city. We had the chicken & goat empanadas (very good, chicken is better but try the goat), the salchipapas that had fries the same style as McDonalds, the spicy wings that are finished on the grill that had my friend licking her fingers, the avocado dip which as someone who does not like avocado was amazing, and finally the queso which I would say was the most lack-luster dish we had but was still decent.”
