“Deliciosas Flauta de Pollo con un postre inigualable... al igual que la rica agua. De horchata”

“Lovely brunch! Plants everywhere, delicious food, kind staff. Perfect place for a cup of coffee and some morning reading.”

“This place was wonderful! The music, the food, and the service were all spectacular. Maria was so sweet and kind.”

“I enjoyed our business buffet luncheon today. of 50+ people and everyone was quite pleased with the food and service. A special “Thanks” to Minerva who was our terrific server. She did a wonderful job! Outstanding food!”

“The food was great but the quantity for the price was less. I ordered the chicken enchiladas and the taste was good.”

“Also came in Tuesday for lunch and was disappointed with the service. Then ordered an Al Pastor burrito and I’m not sure what was served. I was expecting well seasoned pork and I got meat that tasted like it had adobe added to it. Definitely not coming on a Tuesday because I’ve come other days and it’s a different woman with better service.”
“We've been dining here for twenty-two years & have always been very satisfied with both the service & the cuisine. In my humble opinion, they serve the best tostadas in Chicago. There's plenty of popular, authentic Mexican dishes to choose from. I also love their caldos, as well as the Chile rellenos. Wash it all down with their delicious horchata. Check it out! 😋😋😋”
“Really like going to La Choza, it’s very pleasant and most of what we’ve gotten here is delicious. Very good breakfast, and we really love the plate with the steak, guacamole, and mole enchilada. The horchata is some of the best we’ve had in the neighborhood. Food is very hot and fresh, and the servers are so nice. You can also tell from the plants and fountain that they care about giving a good experience. There are tons of tables, so it’s a good spot when you want a very chill, low energy time where you can easily talk with your other guests. I would only say, don’t get the tacos, the meat is dry and under seasoned. Get a sope or gordita instead.”
“Calling all people who hate cilantro but love Mexican food! This place is so good. I always request no cilantro and they actually pay attention. I have now ordered multiple different dishes over multiple orders and they have never put a single leaf of cilantro in my food. This is not easy to find unless you're going to taco bell. IYKYK. The red salsa is cilantro free and delicious! It's hard to find a good salsa without cilantro in it. The food is consistently delicious and portions are large. So fresh every time we order. Highly recommend. Cannot stop eating here.”
